It's always excuses for Romo. He had some good teams so let's not act like he didn't have help. It's nonsense. Good QB but failed in the playoffs, period the end

It's a matter of degree. Both Roger and Troy had number one ranked defenses occasionally when they played, but Romo did have a couple of pretty good ones, good enough to win titles. But there's other factors as well.

Tony had his chances, he made mistakes in the playoffs or games to get them to the playoffs, which came an unfortunately at bad times.

Just look at the latest NFC championship game - Brady threw THREE ints, but his defense shut down Rogers and the Packers offense when it mattered.

Good quarterbacks can make mistakes and it costs them games and titles, or make mistakes and not cause undue harm.

Comparing players and teams is mostly an exercise in futility...

Always excuses why Romo didn't make it out the divisional round. Even when he had very good teams...... you don't go 13-3 with a bad team, bad defense and bad coaching. You don't have 13 probowlers in 1 season with bad teams, bad coaching and bad defenses. Stop it

There are 14-2 and 15-1 Teams that did not make it to the Super Bowl. QB are the driver to winning but just 1 player of 53. Coaches and coaching dictates winning and losing. That 13-3 season was special but who was Romo’s coach - Wade Phillips. Case proven.
