I don't think you guys have watched a whole lot of Jammer through out his career.

His game against the Pats was nice but the guy has been a penalty machine ever since hes been in the league.

He gets toasted a lot too.

The best thing that ever happened to him was Cromartie stepping up the way he has.

Cromartie is a top 5 corner. Jammer doesn't even sniff top 5.

Good post Catch. It wasn't too long ago that Jammer was getting roasted for being a PI machine. I thin we can do better int he draft.

Honestly I dont think hes even better than Anthony Henry.

Of course this weekend wasn't the 1st Charger game i've watched either.

Others may laugh, but I bet a very strong case could be made that Anthony Henry is one of the best Cornerbacks in the NFL when healthy.

I bet theres a reasonable case to be made, but thats also the problem. In his time here how many games has he played healthy?

I agree...........Jammer had a good game for all to see but he's been a disappointment overall.

Thats exactly why I want to draft a young guy.

I like Reeves as a 3rd option. But when he has to be the #2 guy I panic tremendously.

Corner is such a tough position to find too. We're almost better just taking the cap hit and getting a proven commodity in free agency.

I think Reeves proved this year that he is not a good 3rd option. He can't be counted on when he comes in the game in nickel packages, which in today's NFL is a lot. As a 4th guy, then he probably will be okay. He had his shot this season and underwhelmed.

You are dead right on. I think Jammer is worse than RW! It's killing me that SD took Cromartie the very pick after we took Carpenter. Miami is not going anywhere w/ BP in charge...

Does anyone know if the Chargers have him locked up? That guy looks like a top 5 CB (at least)...it would be great to have him and Newman.

Wow.

I can definetely see where your coming from but I just dont think we have seen the best of Jaq Reeves.

He did make some impressive plays this year and did an alright job at times.

He is better than a lot of other teams 3rd guy.

But regardless of all that I dont think he'll ever be a guy who can start numerous games.

Either way my opinion is definetely not worth the risk and it would be smart to just go get a guy via FA or the Draft.

I'm thinking if you see yourself as a superbowl level team your going to have to have a nearly starting level CB in the nickel. The NFL just rewards spread offenses too much right now.

Pick Jammer and Dallas finishes even worse than 5-11 in 2002.

There is no Roy Williams to play well at St. Louis, a Dallas win.

There is no Roy Williams to play well against Washington on Thanksgiving, a Dallas win.

Any of those 5 glorious victories would be in question with Jammer getting beat and beat often at one of the corner spots. That would put Dallas drafting higher and who knows who Bill Parcells would have drafted in 2003.

Maybe Dallas gets #1 and drafts Carson Palmer or Charles Rogers at #2, Andre Johnson at #3 or Dewayne Robertson at #4. Could have changed the whole team and maybe not for the better.

i see where you are going but its stupid.
