Question about Bledsoe's footwork...

Stepping into a throw his footwork is great. At almost everything else he is lacking.

But even when he has room to step into his throws, he very often doesn't.

I think it's time for Henson to start.

Oh wait...uh....:eek::

Kent Graham was before my time, but he must have been a helluva football player to be mentioned with the likes of Kerry Collins and Bledsoe

So it IS possible to make plays, even when you get pressured.

Of course it is..isn't that why Drew dared Phily to blitz him?

To have both Glenn and Owens, and not be able to take advantage of blitzes.....it's a flat out sin.

BINGO.

He hops.

That's exactly it.

And it looks awful...and the results are worse.
He gets "happy feet."

It'll serve him well once he gets on "Dancing with the Stars."

Until then, it'll remain a problem.

You know who he looks alot like? Aikman in his last couple of years.

...is terrible. It's really the speed of his feet. When he is pressured and on the move he can't move his gunboats fast enough to set his feet for a throw. That's why we see so many throws off his backfoot or off balance.

He knows how to throw a football, he just isn't fast enough to set his feet under pressure.

His faults are obvious. The forum is all over the problems. My complaint is we all know the issues, why aren't we designing gameplans to disrupt the defences with looks they don't expect to see.

Something like a protected rollout. Something no one would expect.

Good post.

That might work on occasion. But the truth is I think Bledsoe has a problem that there is no answer for ... except a QB change. I'm not saying Romo is a better answer right now. What I am saying is that I'm starting to get a handle on just how far Bledsoe can take this team ... and I don't like it.

drew never had good footwork. but i thibk parcells is too old-school. you cannot go to far in the nfl nowadays with such an im-mobile qb
