The game now is more tailored for the WR's. That's why WR's are putting up such big numbers compared to the past. You can't even breathe on a WR without getting a flag nowadays

I remember When Deion played for the Falcons. They would line him up on Jerry Rice all game long with no safety help at all and he could shut him down. This was also when Jerry Rice was in his prime.

To be able to shut down the NFL's best ever reciever in his prime tells me Deion is the best cover corner ever in the history of the NFL and it isn't even close with whoever is second.
