Question about Demarcus Ware?

A. Players typically dont recover from chronic back problems, just like some posters have mentioned.

B. Hate to say it, but even if Ware was playing decent (which he is not), his salary is basically a waste because this defense is so terrible. It is going to take the new head coach 2-3 years to get this defense respectable. We can take his salary and get several pretty decent free agents on defense, not superstars, but really solid players.

I agree overall but that is usually not the way with this franchise..

What they will try to do is to restructure his deal so its more cap friendly..

..and we will drag out his release for a couple of seasons and then take the big hit once the cap has increased..

..still unable to utilize the cap for the entire team.

I'm just totally against these back end loaded deals and front end loaded bonuses.

Pay these guys each year and stop borrowing from the cap.

That makes it much easier to make changes when needed and cap will be available as it comes.

Stop running the team like the Federal Government where the debt stops progress.
