Now entering the 4th quarter of the season, lets here some REALISTIC guesses for the rest of the season. Heres my thoughts...

@ NYG - L - 24-14 - We still can't win a big one on the road

VS KC - L - 23-20 - Won't be able to contain Tony Gonzalas, or the high powered offense.

@ WAS - L - 16-13 - Another heartbreaker, lose to a last minute FG - they get the upper hand because its on the road.

@ CAR - L - 27-20 - Score looks closer than it is... Barber breaks for last 3 minute long run to score.

@ STL - W - 34-21 - even though playoffs are out of picture, players play for their jobs..

There you have it guys, sorry to say, I've never been unloyal, but I don' think this is our year.

Div winners -
SEA, CHI, CAR, NYG

What makes you think we "still can't win" a big one on the road?

In case you forgotten, we WON the last "big one" on the road (Philly).

we weren't supposed to contain the high-powered Giant's offense, the high-powered Seattle offense, the high-powered Eagle offense entering the 1st meeting, but guess what? we did, all KC has is Tony G and that running game, but we've shutdown quite a few great running teams ourselves, in fact, held the NFL MVP, Shaun Alexander, to his lowest rushing, and scoring output, on the season, so really, all they have is Tony G, and didn't KC struggle scoring last week? they don't scare me in the least

why would the players need to play for their jobs? 4 games doesn't put your future in jeopardy, esp after all the promise this team has shown this year

I think we go 5-0 the rest of the way.

If healthy, I'd agree. There hasn't been one game played this season that the Cowboys were ever out of it.

And the opponents that we have remaining on the schedule are no tougher than the ones that we have previously faced.

If we win this Sunday, I think it catapults us on a 4-1 finish to the season.

At the worst we finish out the seaon 2-3.

That post reeks of pot stirring
How are you gonna have the boys going 1-4. Losing games by 10 and 13 points.

There is nothing to base that on. No one has dominated us. We have only not dominated 2 games. Won one of then anyways.

That post is not even being pessimistic. It unrealistic. LOL

Its predicting a "TOTAL DEBACLE"
This is not your Quincy Carter Cowboys. LMAO

I hope you don't play the stock market, cuz you'd be dead broke.

At worst we go 3-2. At best, I think we drop one game. We'll finish the season either 11-5 or 10-6.

I also think worst case scenario is 2-3. Still haven't suffered enough injuries to collapse the team although they are starting to get bad. Hope Henry comes back. The only team in this league that I think we'd have no chance against are the Colts.

Way too pessimistic. Our defense keeps us in all games. Bledsoe is good enough to win routinely unless we take another OL injury. We continue to show guts and heart as well. No give up in this team. 2-3 is the absolute worst case and I think we have a great shot to go 4-1.

Fans like this, (if he is a Cowboys fan) make me sick.

They predict losses.

Then if we win they are all happy, and if we lose they can say, "I told you so, I predicted this would happen."

They can't lose either way.

The title of this thread should be "Worst Case Scenario," shouldn't it?

We haven't even lost two in a row since last season, much less five in a row.

realistically we go at least 3-2 and end up 10-6. Now if our running game gets untracked and our kicker hits them all we go 4-1 which would put us at 11-5 and a home game in the playoffs. 5-0 would give us homefield throughout the playoffs at 12-4 since i doubt Seattle can match that record.

Uhhh Silver, 4-1 would make us 11-5...and I don't think that will be good enough for home field advantage all the way.
