Question For You Guys.. 4th Qtr Of The Season

I also think worst case scenario is 2-3. Still haven't suffered enough injuries to collapse the team although they are starting to get bad. Hope Henry comes back. The only team in this league that I think we'd have no chance against are the Colts.

Not saying we would beat the Colts, but I think we match up well with them with our CB's. The problem I see with them is Tucker versus Freeney. That would be a total mismatch and would probably cost us the game!

If they beat the gints I say at worst we go 4-1 maybe even 5-0, if we lose at best 3-2 most likely 2-3.

Now entering the 4th quarter of the season, lets here some REALISTIC guesses for the rest of the season. Heres my thoughts...

@ NYG - L - 24-14 - We still can't win a big one on the road

VS KC - L - 23-20 - Won't be able to contain Tony Gonzalas, or the high powered offense.

@ WAS - L - 16-13 - Another heartbreaker, lose to a last minute FG - they get the upper hand because its on the road.

@ CAR - L - 27-20 - Score looks closer than it is... Barber breaks for last 3 minute long run to score.

@ STL - W - 34-21 - even though playoffs are out of picture, players play for their jobs..

There you have it guys, sorry to say, I've never been unloyal, but I don' think this is our year.

More reasons why...

- Our offensive line was exposed on national television, and all we can do is max protect and no longer have the "deep threat"

- Our running game has also clapased mainly due to our o-line.

- 2 Starters on our LB crop since week 1 are out.

First of all I don't see this any more realistic than anybody who predicts us going 4-1 or even 5-0 the rest of the way.... so I don't know what your definition of realistic is...

I think worst-case scenario is 2-3. But I think we should go 3-2 or better.
If we get Henry and Crayton back this week or next it will help immensely.
I think having to max protect all the time is going to be our achilles heel this year.

Overall, I really only think we're a LB, C, K, and OT away from a 12 win season.
Maybe one or two (Burnett, Pettiti, Colombo) of those guys are already on the roster and will step it up soon.

yah man, i think well go 5-0 the rest of the way also...we dont lose 2 stra8 vs deadskins, and giants is the biggest game of the year, theyll be jacked up, st louis, theyre just not very good, and carolina hasnt been playing up to par l8ly either, KC, its at home so we got the advantage there....
