Question is multi back or single back system?

The NFL today you need a RBBC approach you still need that lead back that you can count on for the tough yards, ideally a split of 75/15/10 is good that include breathers and injuries.

Randle will be breaking big ones for the Raiders next year.

He and Williams will battle it out in camp. Either way the winner of that battle is #3 back behind Cobb or David Johnson.

Agreed. This argument, "Demarco Murray is the only back in the history of the NFL who knows how to pick up the blitz" has become mind numbing.

New England had like 14 guys get about 300 yards each this season and managed to accomplish some good things.
You remember Chris Gronkowski?

Believe it or not, there is a 4th brother. He plays for K St so I get to see him each game. Not build like Rob at all however.

I'd say when they all go out drinking it's the ultimate bro down. Is he a fullback?

When you have Dorsett,Smith or Murray in your backfield then you do not have running back by committee.

I've never been a fan of RB by committee. I think a RB needs touches to get into the flow of the game.
Agreed.

In that vein, I always hated the way Julius Jones was given/not given carries when he was here. During his rookie year, he always got stronger as the game went on but they refused to let him get into a rhythm.

The System has done a bit of both.

End of the day if a guy is playing as well as Murray last year you ride him til the wheels fall off.
If you switch backs in and out a lot of times it signals what play is coming because the entire offense isn't open to each guy.

Dallas with Emmitt and last year under Garrett/Linehan was pretty simple and maintained one back that ran everything.
When Murray came out his back ups had smaller playbooks. Because they played so little it would be hard for teams to key on those or gain advantages.
It we did rotate it all year it would have been possible to key the plays of each.

Yes he is.

Just when we were worried that Rob Gronkowski had left his wild bro days behind to focus on rehabbing his forearm in time for the 2013 NFL season, Gronk resurfaced this weekend in Manhattan…Kansas. Wait, WHAT?

Gronkowski‘s brother, Glenn, is a fullback for the Kansas State Wildcats. Their spring game was on Saturday, so Gronk just cruised to the “Little Apple” (get it?) and hung out, pounded some Bud Light Platinum and rocked a hot pink t-shirt. He also took time to pose with K-State fans, including one wearing Zubaz, before the game and hang out with some babes in the club after.
