It shouldn't be much different than when players from the losing Superbowl team going to the pro-bowl the following week.

And the losing Super Bowl team players have usually looked like they were going to a funeral.

Now there will be twice as many players in that same mindset .....

.... I'm sure there are a few people here who remember the old Playoff Bowl. Teams that lost in the first round of the playoffs, played each other the next week in "the Playoff Bowl" ... before the conference championship game. What a depressing game that was. Mercifully, the NFL pulled the plug on it.

Thats pretty crazy for the 2 teams that make the Super Bowl...they will have some Pro Bowlers no doubt and do you think there coaches want them to play in that game and get injured before the Super Bowl? I jst think this is crazy!

Its a good idea because a lot of fans check out of the NFL when the Super Bowl is over. I for one never watch it anymore because I never know when it comes on. HOWEVER, there's no way in hell any team in the Super Bowl is going to let their players play. So Goodell better hope its not one of his marquee players playing in the Super Bowl.

Every other sport in this country has their All-Star game at mid season. There is still more fan interest.

Overall, I think it's a smart move. There's nothing more boring than the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. There's so much hype about the game, it gets old. Now at least you have something football related to take up the space.

Having the Pro Bowl after the SB is really anti-climactic.

Play the freaking game in the summer and leave it where it is, Hawaii.

Plus the stupid rules that you have to go by just congest a contest with ultra talented athletes. Only allowing a 4-3 defense and you can't blitz. Just pure stupidity IMO.

Why the hell don't they make it interesting ala the NBA All Star game? Blitz anytime you please, play the single-wing, play the wildcat, play a fan contest winner at ST gunner once in a while... lol etc etc. Like picante sauce on cheerios, give it some attitude
