The pro-bowl has been a joke for several years. Nothing wrong with trying something different. It is going to be a good week of partying in Miami with the pro-bowl one week and the superbowl the following week.

The teams in the superbowl aren't expected to let their pro-bowlers play in the pro-bowl. They thought of that when they made the decision to move the game. I bet the players would gladly decline playing in the pro-bowl for the chance to appear in the superbowl.

Goodell is not the brightest guy.

I agree that this is a very stupid idea.

No kidding. Talk about a boon to the hosting city every year.

Does anyone actually watch the ProBowl?

Seriously, it's nothing more than a glorified scrimage and a lot of the players in the game haven't put on pads in a month.

It's a pointless exercise that nobody really cares about; I have no idea why the league doesn't just name the players to the team and leave it as that, rather than actually playing the "game."

I like the idea. Play the game when people have an interest in it. It will help keep interest high for the super bowl during the long two week window also.

All about the dollar.

Wouldn't suprise me if they moved the probowl to the SuperBowl host city every year. Fans already there...........etc.

I haven't watched a pro Bowl in probably 8-9 years. Boooooring............

I don't think it even matters. Nobody cares about watching the pro bowl and a handful of players come up with some injury to stay out of it.

I think its a decent idea to try and make that game a little more popular.

In a few years when the moron Goodell sends the Super Bowl to Europe, so to will follow the Pro Bowl. Just a matter of time.

The Pro Bowl is lame.

It will look even lamer when sandwiched between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.

No Super Bowl players in the Pro Bowl now, of course. As if that's a recipe for success. Let's have an All Star game without inviting the biggest stars!

I'll be curious how the losers of the conference championship games take to playing the weekend following their losses, too.

I doubted that we would be sending two teams every year to Europe and jobbing one team out of a home game and the potential revenue each game brings to their city.

But here we are.

Maybe the players on the super bowl teams could be there for the opening cermeonies of the game. Be announced, trot out in the helmets and conference unis, but just not play, not even stick around after that.

It shouldn't be much different than when players from the losing Superbowl team going to the pro-bowl the following week.
