Questionable HC calls

Many said this here at the start of the season - the coaching staff they put together this year is poor.

The play calling on the very first drive just killed me.

1st and goal and then 4 dud plays with the ball never going into the end zone.

It's almost like he's in over his head and learning on the job.

We lived this for 10 years already.

Yeah but we can't capitalize on all the mistakes that he's made if we fire him now.

He's just not head coach material. Everyone knew that. He wasn't even Jerry's first choice because Jerry wanted to bring McCarthy back for some odd reason. Couldn't score in the red zone, couldn't manage the clock, and probably the most penalized team in the league. And no playoff wins - Jerry wanted more of that.

The offense will naturally score touchdowns over the course of a game. Get points on the board as anything can happen like a blocked punt for a touchdown.

Rookie HC, we saw worse towards the end of Garrett's tenure. I didn't love this hire and I still haven't decided if I like it. Can't make these bad decisions a habit.

DC on the other hand, Jerry needs to pay Rex Ryan on the ride home. This scheme is god awful. 10+ yard plays all day. 50 yard pass right out of the gate after halftime. This was a 2-5 team playing a backup QB. These failures can't be ignored.

Everyone called Schotty a coward for not going for it on 4th down last week. He does it this week and it really hurt us. You should kick the field goals while the game is close. Early on the defense was a travesty yet again. Then actually played decent at the end.

Not kicking FG’s especially in the 4th quarter were huge mistakes. You needed 10 points. Take the 3! Your offense is struggling. The conversion percentages were not in your favor. Stupid moves.

The joke on Yoda is that Junior, like his dad Marty, won't ever sniff the playoffs, and even then, will fold like Playoffs Marty.

Jerry doesnt value coaching. It costs the team time and again. This latest hire might rival Dave Campo. That is what you get when you dumpster dive behind Dollar Tree.

Arizona have crumbled under pressure in the 4th quarter all season. Surely any head coach would want to get them within 1 score if possible. So many dumb calls in the 4th quarter alone meant Arizona never faced that pressure.

I think Shart-y is feeling the pressure of having a historically bad defense. If he doesn’t get 7 they have no chance. He’s in a lose lose situation. Plus Jerruh won’t let him fire Eber-fart

He operates like an OC still. He doesn't take the other side of the ball into consideration for his choices. No game management just always thinking TD which isn't realistic in this league. Pick your spots, be patient, take the 3 when you have the chance every point matters

Agree on 1. This has been all season. Having no one behind Williams that can be trusted is probably part of why.

I'dve gone for both of those. But can see the argument of taking the 3 on 2nd one.

Brian seems to have at least one series a game that are headscratchers.

Shotty has no feel for the flow of the game far too often. Going for it on the first drive, fine but kick the FG when down three scores instead of a wounded duck pass to CeeDee.

Bad pass was on CeeDee's lazy route running, plus the terrible Oline...brother.
