it is now week 10
i know he is suspended for 14 games, but does it include the bye week?
so which week is he eligible to return?

we have not heard whether he had another failed test.
but would we have heard if he had another failed test?

or is it if he had another failed test, he cannot be working out in the facility?

if indeed he has been clean since the last failed that, how many weeks has he stayed clean?

even if he comes back, it is hard to say how effective he can be.
is it true that he looked good at training camp?

how much training camp did he participate in?

As you said, he's suspended for 14 games

He'll be a nice addition for the playoff games.

Does anyone know if he's with the team working out or does he have to stay away??

With the 10-game suspension tacked on, he won't be eligible to return to the team until Dec. 19. The first game he could play in for the Cowboys this season would be the team's Week 16 contest against the Detroit Lions on Monday, Dec. 26.

He violated the leagues substance abuse policy. Have not heard specifics on how/why but figure he failed another test. With Gregory, there's no given if he is or will ever stay clean, however, he had gone to an addiction clinic to get sober and I believe he completed that program. Based on his history, I suspect he's getting tested regularly and if he was not clean, we'd learn of that pretty quickly.

I don't believe he participated much, if any, in the offseason program - don't count on him this season. Rolando is someone to count on more and that's saying A LOT!

He won't play this year, IMO.

How can you be in football shape missing 14 games?

Gregory, Lawrence, Irving, Collins ? Sounds interesting at this point.

It's an interesting thought. I think it's possible he could help in the playoffs if he's working on getting in shape now. He'd have two games to play and practice before the playoffs plus he'd only be a situational guy anyway. Maybe 10-15 snaps a game at most. He couldn't play 45 snaps a game but as a situational pass rush guy?

I think there's a chance if he's committed (which, yes, is a big "if") he could be an asset in the playoffs.

sounds interesting on the surface. Really don't know what we have in Gregory or if his college production would translate to the NFL. At this point he's no more than a high risk gamble JJ & Co. took that hasn't paid off but...... you have to be in it to win it! Not counting on getting anything from him this season.
