The only regular season games he'll be eligible for are the Lions and Eagles, weeks 16 and 17.
Probably one "preseason" game for him.

He'll be a nice addition for the playoff games.
Does anyone know if he's with the team working out or does he have to stay away??
Just like anybody else..he's going to have to work himself into game shape..
2 games to prepare for a postseason run and he can be a situational pass rusher
Doesn't mean this is how it will go down..but it's not that far fetched
He has to stay clean 2 years to reset his drug policy and get back to zeroi just recalled someone said he looked better than anyone else, but lawrence was not playing at that point
He has to stay clean 2 years to reset his drug policy and get back to zero
He has an uphill battle but he has stayed clean since the preseason at least
When a player is in the program they face up to 10 tests a month....if he fails another test in the next year or so he will face an indefinite suspension like Josh Gordon got, but the Browns still haven't waived him......he doesn't accrue any service time and the team keeps his contract rights but doesn't have to pay
-Yes we would know(once his appeals were up)so basically, if he fails, we would know?
would he be allowed to be in the facility if he fails again?
so basically we keep control of his contract and dont have to pay or lose service time if he fails, so no downside.
-Yes we would know(once his appeals were up)
-Yes he is allowed at the facility...the NFL considers its Substance Abuse policy as an Intervention program......they want their players to stay off illegal drugs and they feel being around the team helps.....they can workout and attend meetings but can't practice
-If a player is suspended for PEDs or violating the Player Conduct Policy they are not allowed on the facility or to have contact with any players or coaches...this is punishment not treatment
-If he misses at least 10 games his contract doesn't toll and he doesn't get paid for any suspension
I don't recall him being in camp....I thought he went to rehabgood, so since he is at the facility, he has not failed.
given he has apparently behaved for quite a few months, it is reasonable that he continues to behave for another 6 weeks.
now who knows what he has now, though I recall people saying he played well when he was in camp...

He won't play this year, IMO.
How can you be in football shape missing 14 games?
You don't have to be faster than the bear......just faster than one other personHe's been working with the trainers for 2 months and by the time he is eligible it will be near 4. Only way you can get ready for the physicality is by actually playing.
58 and 93 have not been productive. That is the baseline he needs to beat.
Fixed that for you, he's another one that doesnt really want to play football
You guys will learn. Why's that? Because he made mistakes due to a mental disorder? Yeah. Shame on him for checking himself into rehab and trying to get his head right.
What did I learn? That he has an addiction? He tried to get help, it didnt work so its goodbye. You didnt really prove anything except you are extremely judgmental. You guys will learn.
Run Jaylon run!!!He and Jaylon Smith work out together at The Star. Per Broaddus...
