1. Can Austin be depended on from here on out? Biggest game of the year and Glassman gets hurt again.

Gale Sayers may have been the most talented running back EVER. But his injuries prevented him from proving that.

2. Ogletree - are we about ready for this to be done?

3. Albright - I wondered why Ryan didn't put him on the TE of New Orleans back in that game. Have you seen enough to bring this guy back and say Adios to Connor?

4. Sims - can we invite him back as well?

5. Romo - have we seen enough to say that all excuses and stats aside, maybe it is Romo?

6. Spencer - anything in that performance that sells you on a 40+ million dollar contract?

7. How would this game have turned out had Lee and Bruce and Rat played?

8. Is Rat still the nose?

9. Garrett's play calling - any better in this game than when you were angry about his play calling?

10. Ryan - want him back?

11. Pingpongo and Frampton - anything here interest you?

1. Goodbye, Miles.

2. Hit the road, Otree.

3. Definitely want Albright back.

4. Definitely want Sims back.

5. This one was definitely mostly on Romo. But I want him back.

6. Hell no. But we may have to just to avoid creating ANOTHER hole while trying to patch the ones we already have.

7. We probably would have "only" given up about 180 yards on the ground.

8. See #6.

9. Garrett needs to coach the team and let someone else call the plays.

10. Yes, if only so that our D doesn't have to learn a new defense... again. Plus I'd like to see what he can do without having half his starters injured.

11. Frampton, yes. Poppingo, No.

*One of the things that worries me most about this team moving forward is we rely on a handful of injury prone players -- Austin, Bryant, Lee, Carter and Murray chief among them. With Austin, I don't know that I'm ready to move on just yet, but maybe I need to be.

*One thing I liked about this year's team is I feel we established a good bit of depth. Where as in the past I've felt like some of our backups were guys you wouldn't necessarily want on the field, I think we saw a number of guys step up and contribute in a way that would make you proud to see them on the team again next year as a reserve. Yeah, guys like Albright and Sims among them.

*Every week, I find myself asking why Ogletree is on the field over Harris. Hopefully that stops next season.

*Yes on Romo. I think he's assuredly back next season, so the hope has to be that he can play remotely close to his usual, regular-season self if presented a big game. I don't know what to do other than hope at this point. He's a good player, but one whose choker narrative feels all too accurate.

*Garrett's play calling confuses me. How the blitz confounded us the way it did tonight was embarrassing.

Agree with all of those except Frampton. He might prove useful on ST and back-up duties, but I hope the defense doesn't depend on him a lot.

If for no other reason, Dale, but why not move the double tight end to the side where Smith is and force the blitz to come on Romo's passing side instead of behind him?

1 Austin will re structure his contract , he is a solid #2.

2 bye ogletree

3 yes save some money Albright is better than Conner anyways . He makes plays

4 no he is terrible ( sims sucks)

5 finding a good qb is tough . Who are you gonna get ? This is the first time romo truly choked in a big time game . Hopefully he makes it up to us . I just don't think we want to go back to Quincy and hutch type days .

6 spencer should be franchises again

7 much different lee and carter can fly to the ball and make several tackles on the edge . We missed them hugely the last two weeks

8 Ratliff money is guaranteed at 5 million which is reasonable for a solid DL . I think he should switch too DE

9 I like garrett as a motivator and leader but he sucks at play calling please bring in norv

10 yea . How could we not the defense showed guys the whole season . Next year injuries can't get any worse .

11 frampton for sure . He is a solid player and solid back up player ... Nice find

Let me cherry pick.

1. Miles hamstrings seemed to be okay this year so I'm not giving up on him yet, but I would love to see him get moved to the slot.

2. Spencer had a great year but I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

3. Harris has bought O Tree's ticket out of Dallas. All he does is make plays.

4. Our linebacking core as a group is going to be talented and deep next year regardless of who we keep.

5. As I've posted Tony played bad tonight when I was convinced he would be great -- but you just can't give up on him. However we should begin to develop a QB.

6. We were out coached and did not make adjustments to their blitzes in this game but I think the culture change has been the tougher task so I'm not bailing on JG.

7. I think if Rat were on the Patriots he would have been gone last year.

8. Frampton gave us the greatest gift of all the last two weeks -- he put McCray on the bench.

9. Lee and Carter would have been huge in stopping the cutback runs. It would've been a different game.

10. Finally, no mention of Hannah but we gave them problems with the two tight end sets and I would like to seem his role expand a lot next year.

1. Austin had his leg rolled up on while blocking??? he is still a solid WR and Romo trusts him.

2. Pack your stuff

3. Seems to be solid in limited action. Good ST's too. A keeper. No room for him to start.

4. Great FA signing. Hope he stays.

5. If it were not for him last night would not have mattered at all. He has carried this team. Yeah, he sucked yesterday but he isn't going anywhere and I for one am glad.

6. Played solid and had a huge sack on RG She last night. Best player on the D this entire season and solid throughout his career. "Pay that man his money"

7. No way they run the ball at will with Lee and Carter playing. That being said, they had over 125 yards rushing before Ryan made any decent adjustments.

8. Rat can still be a force if he is healthy and the NT is where he is best suited. I like the fire he brings as well. His health is the big question.

9. Late to make adjustments to the 3rd down blitz. Needs to mix in screens, bootlegs, draws, etc... more than he has. I think he is going to be a great coach though. The players do not quit and play hard.

10. Yes. he can have a top 5 D if not decimated with injuries.

11. Frampton has some wheels and can be good on ST's. Worth a look in TC. Weak position on the team.

Batman can go. Too much LB depth to keep him.

Wasn't his fault he got hurt. If I were the GM I'd tell him to restructure, move him to slot and bring in another solid to compete at WR to replace OTree.

Some players may need to go, depending on our approach to the offseason. If we go into rebuild mode and fire the coaches, they should cut loose several of the overpriced and/or underperforming veterans. Namely, Austin, Ratliff, Costa, Otree, Spears, Sensy. Then we can use some cap space for a real coach and better players.

Romo stays. He lost the game for us, plain and simple. But good luck finding a franchise guy in this draft. We need to really think about post-Romo before just jumping in. As much as I'm pissed at him today, without him we'd be 5-11. He's not going to take us to the superbowl and win it, but we need to get the right guy before enduring another 5 years of Quincy and Hutch and Henson and Wright and Leaf and Banks and Stoerner

Frampton is a nice player. He made plays out there. Which is more than we can say about the other safety, who's been here for years.

I think the team can compete next year, but they need an entirely new offense and offensive line and defensive line.

And a new coach.

That's always the point with Austin, though: he's fragile and dainty....and another year older. he's no longer the #1 WR...hell, something could be said for Harris as a #2 if he polished his routes more instead of rounding them off. I think it's time to say bye to Austin although he still has maybe a year or two left.

To some of the other posters on this thread: I'm not a huge fan of Spencer, but be careful of calling his play out...particularly last night. If you compared him to Ware (yes, I know he was injured...but his injury had nothing to do with his run play)....he looked like THE guy out there. Ware got schooled on his run play...he looked like a clown out there and we all know he's a top wrung player.

what you saw with ware is what happens when you cannot practice.
