Buffalo just lost two more LBs to season-ending injuries. Maybe the Cowboys could get a 4th rounder for him? Work the phone, Jerry.

Do you really think they would give a 4th round pick for Bobby Carpenter?

Seriously?

They are desperate. Real desperate. One can dream. I'll ask for a 4th but will settle for a 5th or 6th.

Who would be our nickel linebacker? While I'm in no way a Carpenter fan, I'm not stupid enough to trade him away right now.

WHAT HE SAID....

We don't trade players. We publicly announce that we want them gone and kill any trade value they may have had. Then they go and become contributing starters on other teams (TO, Roy Williams, Greg Ellis).

Just in case anyone is confused, I wanted all of those players gone too. I'm just sick of seeing other NFL teams trade players for future picks and we get no return for players that obviously are good enough to start for someone.

Couldn't hurt, look what Jerry gave up for #11..

Why do you guys keep comparing Bobby Carpenter's value to Roy's? Regarless of what you or Cowboy fans may feel Roy was a Pro Bowler. Carpenter couldn't make a Pro Bowl Carpenter was the only player in the league.

You know, a 4th round might be too much.

But, I heard they have some mean chicken sandwiches in the Ralph Wilson. Bobby Carpenter + 7th Round pick for Chicken Sandwich + 7th round pick? I like it.

If they throw in mayo, Jerry better jump on it.

And who will be LB for us, we are already thin there. And do you really honestly believe another LB can be signed, come in and do a better job during the season...the answer is no. And don't say Victor Butler, becasue he would have already taken over if that was the case.

I dont think carpenter is going anywhere nor should he.

however I hope over this next two week period Jason williams gets some serious consideration and coaching to get a chance and take the job from carpenter.

Maybe we can trade Carpenter to Buffalo for T.O. and a conditional 6th?

The only one you mention with any trade value at all was Ellis. No one would have traded us a nickel for either TO or Roy. Plus you assume no attempt was made to trade them.

The most they can give us for Carpenter is a bottle of gatorade which will do more good to our team than Carpenter but that's it....sad but true.

35 yr old T.O. with his 6 million dollar salary cap figure and his 4 catch 44 yds 0 TDs, line yesterday happens to be worth less than Carpenter right now.

Well, in my own opinion, Bobby Carpenter isn't playing bad at all. He's one of the players out there wrapping up when he tackle. I seen plays by him that I felt like should've been made but just think this is Carpenter first time getting playing time early in a season and he's a first round draft pick someone that Cowboys choosed over Lawson and Cromartie.

Bobby Carpenter made plays when he got playing time against the Falcons, when they had Michael Vick. He just needs to get in the weight room or just play mostly as a coverage or blitzing linebacker. He's pretty weak on the run, but you as the fans have to credit Bobby Carpenter's heart and effort.

Mark My WORDS:: BOBBY WILL SUPRISE A WHOLE LOT OF DOUBTERS THIS SEASON. Im basically saying im on the "Bobby Carpenter bandwagon".

I'm surprised nobody said straight up for Roscoe Parrish. It would make sense except that the Cowboys would be thin at ILB. But they are anyway.

Who's comparing???? I certainly am not. There is none. I just stated that Jerry gave way too much up for #11

Right now, I feel that #11 is just that , an 11.

Bobby is our best on the field cheerleader.. Trading him would seriously demoralize our defense.
