And so it begins. A solid month of FA additions discussion only to watch them do nothing.

Groundhog Day is tomorrow, boys.
It seems like Groundhog Day on here every day. As we get the rinse and repeat crowd saying the same thing over and over, but each day, there can be a slight change to the wording.
Both good and bad also.

Just not impressed with Harris.
Not awful, but not great either.

No one out there I’m trading draft picks for

I’d trade Diggs for a 1 and Tyron for a 2 and then take CB and OL with those picks

Ask yourself why are the Steelers trying to unload Harris. They see this large group of quality RBs, and want to get extra picks n save money by giving up Harris. This is how a smart FO moves.

Dallas should be doing the same thing by unloading Zeke and drafting a RB. Too many good RBs in this draft.
They signed Turbisky to play QB. And they used a 1st rd pick on Harris.

Seems like just a little younger version of Zeke - the Zeke of today, not Zeke as a rookie. Accordingly, if we had him I would expect him to do no more than split carries with Pollard, if not get fewer carries than Pollard.

So, what is that worth? Maybe a 5th if it allows us to dump Zeke's contract, but of course Zeke's contract would still carry some impact against the salary cap. I certainly wouldn't use a 3rd rounder on it.

Steelers are still a smart FO, they also drafted TJ Watt when Dallas drafted Taco, and they traded for Minkah.

Trubisky was a stopgap for Pickett, which is smart, and their selling as high as they can on Harris...they're admitting he ain't that guy, meanwhile, Dallas starts a broke down $18M RB over a Top 5 Pro Bowl RB.

no its time to draft one..Malik Davis IMO has showed enough to be a better option then Harris. Lets not forget about him like MOORE DID!

we have options at RB right now and in the draft lots of things to decide but no to trade for one that not that impressive.

figure out what to do with zeke major league pay cut maybe 2-3 mil base with lots of incentive or flat out CUT..

figure out Pollard FT or a new deal that not too crazy

then we have malik and the draft

worry more aboiut the OL getting tougher need power LG , Steele needs to be healthy or what to do therr. our run game surffred over our OC and lack of ohciality along the OL.

the RB doesnt worry me, its the line. tyron and peters are older and not themselves anymore cant count on them,.. maybe wally or Ball by then can with a new OLC and OC figure out a run scheme that can fill in until steeles back. im worried what if steele post injury turns into Collins post injury and drops a bit??

Lets fix the Line and the scheme..

RB is the easiest transition position in the NFL, a rookie RB will be fine.

If they do pull the trigger on Bijon Robinson, we will have a lot to debate as they will have let Pollard walk.

I dont think its a debate at all. Robinson is better than Pollard. And its not really close.

Gibbs or Robinson. I can see it now. And possibly Hopkins, OBJ, or Michael Thomas.
It’s not a big name but if DJ Chark is available I’d like to bring him in over any of those guys.

Lamb and Gallup are more then enough and Chark would give us the deep speed out wide that we need.

Move Lamb into the slot.

they would have to IMHO if they use a 1st rounder on a RB , you have to cut pollard and Zeke and roll with Malik and Bijon + any other RB needed to fill in the roster.

lots to decide and plenty of time to do so.. not concerned about the RB positions as much as the scheme and a more physical OL and an OC willing to run it no matter what...

Pollard is a flat out weapon. He is Christian McCaffrey part 2.

Neither Pollard or McCaffrey should have gigantic roles on a offense but you give them 25 plays and they can make a huge impact within that 25 plays.

We just need someone better than Elliot because he is toast at this point.

Robinson won’t be there and I don’t want to see us give up compensation to move up for him.

Draft a guy, keep him 5 years, then draft another.

I like Gibbs from Alabama. He is a Alvin Kamara clone but faster.

Agreed. I am just saying. Jerry cares about jersey sales. Not success on field lol. Youll get hopkins and like it. Plus. Lets be honest. Hopkins has a MASSIVE catch radius. Which. You know. Helps our QB
