Agreed. I am just saying. Jerry cares about jersey sales. Not success on field lol. Youll get hopkins and like it. Plus. Lets be honest. Hopkins has a MASSIVE catch radius. Which. You know. Helps our QB

Hopkins would be a great get but our offense needs speed. We need to get a lot faster.

Pollards speed was our best thing this year and we need more of that.

I dont think its a debate at all. Robinson is better than Pollard. And its not really close.
But they will have used their 1st on a RB, not popular with a lot of posters. I think they'd have to trade up to get him as well.

Pollard is a flat out weapon. He is Christian McCaffrey part 2.

Neither Pollard or McCaffrey should have gigantic roles on a offense but you give them 25 plays and they can make a huge impact within that 25 plays.

We just need someone better than Elliot because he is toast at this point.

Robinson won’t be there and I don’t want to see us give up compensation to move up for him.

Draft a guy, keep him 5 years, then draft another.

I like Gibbs from Alabama. He is a Alvin Kamara clone but faster.
Pollard is good. He isnt McCaffery though. If they keep him and draft Gibbs that would be insane. I think Robinson will be there though. Just a feeling. Cowboys also met with him which is odd.

Yeah they may get Gibbs.

Look at who their first interview for OC was.

Its either that or they bring in Dont'a Foreman and sign pollard and let Zeke walk. Either way. Expect a revamped run game next season.

if that the case, a hard NO on trading up for a rb..rather have physical OL pick LG, RT or LB or corner much more pressing need then an RB in a deep draft of RBs.

No to Harris. Especially in a contract year. He looked good coming out of College. But he has not done a lot so it seems in the NFL.
I think he may be a bit injury prone as well.

If we are going to spend any draft capital on these type of players, find a DT, OL, LB or even a WR.
He has only played 2 years in the NFL. There are 2 more years on his contract plus the 5th year option.

WRs to trade for - DJ moore, D hopkins, Tee higgins

RB go the draft route.

TE - cut Dalton , use Fergusson, Pendrshot and Sean. Draft one in the later rounds.

DT - Draft high or get FA

CB - watch for FAs and see if we can get a decent one at right price , again draft and develop

OL - never stop upgrading , going younger and get a good OL coach .

Don't know if injury-prone applies to Harris - unless he's had a number of them in the "nicks and bruises" category - that have reduced his efficiency.
Started every game his first two seasons - 1200 yds in '21, 1034 in '22.
But his average yds/carry is only 3.9, and just under 66 yds/game to date.
Nearly half of his games, Harris has rushed for 50 yards or less.
Some of them could be because the Steelers fell behind early and big - thus having to abandon the run game to try and catch up; but there just as many games that were close in the score (win or a loss) where his production was meh\subpar.
Could be the latest player in that line of Alabama RBs that tore in up in college, but fall flat in the NFL.
