The Texans QB ran the wrong direction, or he's in for an easy 6 and we lose. But, thats what bad teams do.

But that doesn't matter. Good teams win these games not playing their best. All that does matter is the playoffs. Dak has the same problem Romo had with his haters. Great stats but the playoff success is not their and that is what defines Qbs.,,.......... the ability to lead a super bowl charge. Dak will continue have his haters until he plays well enough in January to take the team past the divisional playoff round.

Watch it again.

Anthony Barr is our unsung hero. He crashed through the line and force the qb to go the opposite direction. He was right there and had about a 98% chance of making the play.

Someone should start a Anthony Barr appreciation thread for that. Lol

Don't shoot the messenger.
Yes, it stings as the talentless reality of our QB will once, again and again, show its ugly face on the gridiron.
Let's all hope he can survive another poor performance vs the Jags for now and he can be carried all the way to the Superbowl.
Have you seen our offensive rank since his return?

*And a clutch 98 yard game winning drive.

We Eagle fans don’t want him, he’s an embarrassment.Let the Lakers, Yankees, Bama, have him. He’s one weak poser.
Kudos to you for joining as an Eagles fan. It shows you’re here to debate football and not to troll rival fans. That is something that I always respect.

Almost all the negativity is from 20 or so people and directed at one person. They are the ones who brings this board down. If you had seen the "I Love Tony Romo" thread before it was deleted, you'll know why those 20 or so people have hatred for that one person.
No...the people that "bring this board down" are the crusaders who incessantly reply and agitate...rather...inspire... them.

this conversation will go on after all of us are dead.
Its a forum for goodness sake. You root for the team during a live game, then you come to a discussion forum the next day(s) and have the right to discuss how to get better
its simple a.f.
I dont get the people who dont get it.
Do you think all the coaches and players are watching replays of the last drive and drinking beers this week while perpetually celebrating?
No they are watching film of their mistakes and working to right them.
If they do it, why shouldnt fans?

Get it now? of course not.
.... good post, mate. Very common sense.

We fans come here, on hope they can fix the shortcomings. Talk about the positives.

Not to continue wallowing, its bad here, will never get better, its this and that...etc. sheesh...

For a team that supposedly wanted to lose, Houston sure went to a lot of trouble to hide the fact that their “secret weapon” Driscoll, that they just brought up from the practice squad, was going to be sprung on the Cowboys. I wonder why Houston would do such a thing when they wanted to lose?

Why would they switch up some things on their defense to surprise Dallas?

I guess they just wanted to look like they weren’t trying to lose.
..ha!... no way Hou wanted to lose. They wanted that game so bad, you could see it on the players faces. They wanted to upend Dallas, and boast it to the world.

>>>>SO GLAD, they didnt get the opportunity.

All of this negative talk needs to stop.

Whether you think the Texans tanked by not doing what any team that actually wants to win would do (QB sneakfor the easy, guaranteed win from 2 feet out), OR, whether you think that they are so incredibly incompetent that they actually chose a deep deep hand off 5 to 7 yards away from the goalline, allowing the Cowboys all day to penetrate and stop the play, seemingly on purpose....is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!!!!!

There's tons of good teams out there that actually lost (well, a couple at least).

And we WON (even if you believe it was a gift).

There were only 3 possible outcomes from yesterday's game:
1. Suffer a humiliating loss.
2. Suffer a humiliating WIN.
3.Flex our muscles and own the worst team in the league.

We suffered a humiliating WIN. A WIN PEOPLE! A win.

Even though we played like the 2nd worst team in the league YESTERDAY, we are still probabaly a Top 10 team in the league, and have a good chance to make the playoffs, which hasn't happened many times in the last 25 years, and shouldn't be taken for granted.

So stop complaining. We have a playoff game to look forward to in a little less than FIVE weeks from today!!!!!

... and for any of you who are going to the playoff game, the game will almost surely be in a cool city to visit.. so there's a lot to be happy about right now, for the Bleeding Blue faithful

I'm just not getting all the negatively....despite how horrible yesterday was.
close but no label; for win or loss its more simple

a WIN OR LOSS

so its win ., next up Jags.

Ya 20 people or so.....:muttley:......more like 80% polled of our members as seen here below....

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/are...he-quarterback-for-the-dallas-cowboys.492042/

It's only 20 or so. It looks like that poll was conducted right after the 49ers game. The vast majority of those people who chose to pick they are not happy with Dak are true fans who were just upset and disappointed in the outcome of that game. Including myself. The anti-Dak/Cowboy crowd here, they seem to be very happy when we lose any game because of Dak's struggles, or not. They'll find a way to blame him and only him. They are the ones I'm talking about. They will never give Dak credit for anything good he does. After reading all the comments in that "I Love Tony Romo" thread, I now know why most of the anti-Dak/Cowboy hates him so much. There are other reasons too but I can't talk about them here. :)

yup was their SB, if they wanted to lose they would have started Allen and a backup RB..they pulled out all the tricks and lost..we nearly gave the game away AND DIDNT is more apropos.

Absolutely. They changed up some things on defense and went to great trouble to hide the fact they were bringing up a running QB from the practice squad to spring on the Cowboys.

They did things differently than they have all year, just like Parsons talked about earlier this season. It was a swing for the fence in trying to beat Dallas. Much of what the Cowboys watched on film all week was null and void.

They tried everything to win that game… it just wasn’t quite enough.

Ironic most professionals here stated 7-10 record at best this season given our horrible offseason, historically bad i remember the term being used a lot, once dak went down was 4-5 wins at best,.i mean goalposts moved much???

just winning a playoff game is a bonus how bad this roster is according to the Zone pros...

now its NFCCG huh id say 2 Playoff victory's will Change the narrative but Ill be good with a playoff victory, no 1 and done is a step. i mean also the narrative of no B2B double digit wins or playoff appearances is about to be also busted.

Haters are gonna hate. Who cares. I find it funny that haters of the haters get so worked up about it.

Amen, brother! I love Romo too. Still do. I'm a fan of our team first and foremost. I've said this before. I was banned by Quickdraw at the other board before Cowboys shut it down for sticking up for Romo after the Giants playoff loss. Most everyone was blaming him for not being a true leader by hanging out at the Star watching film instead of going to Cabo. No one was blaming Patrick Crayton for stopping on that play which would've probably been a much needed TD.

It's okay to be upset after a lousy performance, but bashing Dak after a blowout in our favor? That doesn't make any sense.
