I buy that, Kurt Warner has said the same thing.
I buy it too.

I wish Quincy the best and hope his smoking days really are over. Talk is cheap, so hang in there QC.

I wish QC the best of luck. I can't believe he is 30 years old already, time flies..

Good for QC. The weed thing is no joke. The stuff that is out there today is so much more potent compared to what was around in the 60s and 70s. I don't buy at all that it is not addictive, based on my own personal struggles with it. I used to be the first one to say that it isn't, but I knew/know otherwise.

I still can't see why people would bash him. Yes he screwed up, but he is human. I wish him all the best and hope he succeeds is life.

As far as him coming to back up Romo.... I knew there was a reason that I didn't toss the #17 jersey that is still hanging in the closet!

:insane: These are like swear words in a monastery around here.

Glad to see QC has decided to finally grow up.

Unfortunately it came a few years to late for the Cowboys.

its about time he got it together... he pissed away the better part of his career

There you go.

he might make a good #3 qb here if clean
Staying clean might not be so easy back in the NFL. No thanks.

Yawn. How many times have we heard this before?

JJT was always a Quincy mouthpiece. Nothing new here.

You never know. He may be the Josh Hamilton of NFL....
Josh Hamilton had/has talent. Carter was nothing but Jerry Jones jonesing for a McNabb.

Hamilton was also the #1 overall pick in the draft and was proclaimed to have one of the nicest swings in baseball. I've never heard anyone say QC has one of the nicest deliveries in football :laugh2:

Ah, c'mon, Quincy, you big lug. A big hug.

Good luck to you, Quincy.

The whole Q experiment thing is on Jerra. He took this befuddled, almost adequate, undisciplined QB with the second pick. Quincy just got caught up in that Jerra personnel logic. And then into da herb.

But, Q, iffin they mock you, it's just to fill the emptiness inside of little men.

Anyway, good luck to you, man. Don't give up.:)

Quincy won 10 games with a terrible inherited 5-11 roster in 2003.

Why is he a worse #3 than what we have? And let him challenge Brad Johnson. I have more confidence in a sober 30 year old QC than a 40 year old Brad Johnson if Romo went down.

You would?

I have to agree with you. Q wasn't that bad as a QB except for his damn state of panic causing him to throw into triple coverage when he was flushed out of the pocket. If he has matured in that respect he might not be a bad backup for someone (even us) provided he can stay off the Herb as he says he is.

Can you not see how this isn't a good move?
