That's not how it works. Being tough is about being more talented and tough. You don't "make" players tough(whatever that means) just because you want to. The first step in getting "tougher" is to get physically dominant players.
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen all day.

Mazi did ok. I see improvement there. His trajectory is where we should expect it for a DT tackle coming into the league. The missed tackles and business decisions early became a big issue. The refs polished us off when we did have any real success. Then we made legit dumb penalties on top of it all that hampered us all day. It was truly a complete loss in every way imaginable.
Yeah. Whose responsibility is the B gap. It’s a LB or safety spot. They just ran over this team. Parsons was to busy going after allen. I saw so many times he was upfield and had to turn around to run him down…

she(Micah) sure puts on a nice podcast. Too bad she does all her talking during the game instead of the job she gets paid for. Lets send out an APB for her, because damn....THAT was a clusterbleep effort. Invisible.
Amen!!!!

Mazi didn't play good but this singling him out is funny. All those outside runs and we blame the rookie. That logic is crazy to me

.. how do you fix the tackling issues?

Get a bunch of duffel bags with numbers on them, throw them up in the air and tackle them.
Maybe we can put pictures of Achane and Mostert on them and put it out on Instagram to show everyone how focused we are...

There’s no denying the team is physically soft. It’s time for the coaches to earn their money and toughen these team up and ASAP.
It’s been that way for awhile, but having said that they were physical last week against Philly, and surprised everyone in last years game against SF.

IMO the Safeties aren’t playing that well which is a trickle down effect since we have so many of them.

Lol everyone says physically soft …
We are undersized on purpose. It’s the plan.
We have safeties playing LB and small DEs. We play a nickel defense on rushing situations.

The other fallacy in this forum is that when we give up rushing yards everyone thinks it’s all about the DTs.

Hankings playing would have made little to no difference in the game. Most of the yards were gained on the edges because our LB,DE and secondary was poor in playing gaps and they got blocked out because they are too small.

Plus tackling was poor.

Some of u guys need to think more deeply rather than saying ‘we’re soft’. A bunch of tough 200lb guys playing LB isn’t going to stop the run, no matter how hard they are

The defense was exhausted from being on the field the entire game. And they weren't good either. They looked defeated by the middle of the second quarter.

We've seen that exact game too many times.
