Lol, and yet it’s never bee an issue with anyone until this year. The 9ers DC is interviewing with the same teams as Quinn, nothing about it being a distraction coming out of there… because it’s nonsense!
It's been a distraction every single year. The NFL needs to change the rule. It's stupid. You are just wanting to argue

On the part of the interviewer. The interviewee just has to answer questions, for the most part. I'm sure he has everything he wants to convey written down already.
Maybe your experience of interviews is different than mine. The purpose of the interview is to sell that you are the right person for this specific job. That means you study the job, the environment, and plan how to succeed in that particular environment. I would think a coach would study film of the offense and defense of the team he is interviewing for and be ready with customized answers about what needs to be done at that organization. Maybe he can just go in and give the same answers to each team, but unless they’ve already made their minds up that usually won’t cut it.

True, If I was looking to hire a coach, I would 1st ask him about his honest assessment of my team, What he likes and what he feels are the needed changes that he would bring to the team. I would want his views on coordinators he thinks we should hire.

Valid point. Coaching a new team with new issues would require some studying of that team.

Nothing stupid about it, teams what to start getting ready for next season. Anyone wanting to be a head coach, should at minimum be able to handle this simple multitask!

Name one thing that would change if they didn't allow teams to interview coaches still in the playoffs. Name 1. How anyone can even argue that it isn't stupid is actually quite comical. You are just wanting to argue. You have no valid points backing your stance. You say get ready for next season...how? Let's say the Broncos hire Quinn tonight. He still will not be going to Denver until the Cowboys lose or win a SB. Which could be 3 weeks from now. So how does interviewing him right now do anything at all to get them ready for next season...You are basically trying to argue that it is warmer when the Sun goes down.

Or maybe they shouldn't be able to interview any coaching candidates until all games are played, in the interest of fairness to the players who need to prepare and the coaches who have to prepare them.

Name one thing that has changed this year from any other. Coordinators always interviewed while the playoffs were still going. Until now I’ve never heard fans cry about! It’s a load of nonsense. If a coordinator can’t manage this simple multi task then he has no business being a head coach!

Where is Goodell when you need him? No interviews until that teams season is done.
