Quinshon Judkins

I look at this guy and ask why he isn't in the same conversation as Jeanty. He's going to be a great NFL player.

I also like this Devin Neal kid in later rounds...

I don't know if he belongs in the same conversation but I think I prefer him over Henderson and Johnson as the third back behind Jeanty and Hampton. I think he could have a Derrick Henry-type impact. Of course, he's not as big as Henry.

This is the best argument out there to avoid RB round 1....there will be really good players available at the position round 2. My only concern with Judkins is that he may end up a pretty exclusive north/south power runner at the next level. Not sure he cuts well enough to beat NFL caliber LBs on a regular basis, nor does he really have that open field burst to for those home run carries. Judkins is probably the closest thing I've seen to Marion Barber, which isnt a bad thing at all, but I think he is more of a Rico Dowdle replacement than a Rico complementary piece. I think you would still need to find that big play slasher type of RB to pair with him.

My favorite back in the draft. Hell, I’d draft both Ohio state backs

(1) WR Golden
(2) RB Judkins
(3) Best MLB or DT

Big fan of Judkin’s too. So many good backs this year.
Agree. I wouldn't be upset if we had a back like Neal. He's bigger but super shifty .he has a little Demarco Murray, Dorsett, and dare I say Joseph Randle to his game...

That would pair well with Rico.

Are you sure you want to be comparing possible picks to Joseph Randle

Defense rounds one & two wait until round three grab Sampson out of TN …speed can catch out of the backfield plus bring Dowdle back as the between tackles hammer one two punch . Need two backs in this offense .

An effective run game makes 4 a better QB .

Quinshon Judkins (6'0", 219 lbs) is a tough runner, but he's too stiff, has no wiggle to his moves and only has average speed (4.49). He's an identical replica of Zeke. Runs straight towards contact because of his lack of cutting ability and lack of lateral agility. He would wear down big time in the NFL by the end of his 4th year as a starter.

I would rather take another tough runner but with excellent cutting ability, much better wiggle to his hips, and nice mix of power and breakaway speed like Bhayshul Tuten (5'9", 211 lbs, 4.32 40 time) who would be available in the 3rd round+.

Jeanty is quicker than Judkins, and has superpower-type contact balance. I think Jeanty's a clear-cut tier ahead as a prospect.

I'd project Judkins as a David Montgomery, Najee Harris type of power back. He's strong as all hell, sees the game well, and looks pretty good as a receiver, so I think he's got a high floor. But his hips look REALLY tight, and I don't think he has NFL level breakaway speed. He'll be a low YPC grinder, because he can't rip off the chunk runs to boost his averages.

I think he'll be a successful pro and will earn some good money, but I don't think he'll be anywhere close to Jeanty.
