I blame the coaches.

Me too.... And say what you want bout MBIII and I dont question those runs on second or third down... But kick the FG on Fourth and get some points to get our Offense going... I Dunno but you cant let your D fall so down after one injury (Greg Ellis), as a coach you must have a Plan B for an injury like that and make your Defense keep going...

he cant explain it, he can only sit on his perch and pretend to be a rational voice of reason, like a teacher lecturing his 3rd grade class.

Our coaching staff could possibly be the worst in the league.

Do you honestly think Zimmer tells the safeties to show that they're blitzing (when they actually are) with 15 seconds left on the play clock?

Or do you think that's a player/mental error?

Then do you think that someone is supposed to cover LJ Smith when he releases, or do you think that is a mental error?

The game changed once we decided to continue giving the ball to Barber at the goalline. He's not the power runner some make him out to be.

You know it's coaching when you get exposed in a game, and make no changes or adjustments. The last three games, have been played basically the same way against this Defense, and not one adjustment.

Three points against the Eagles wouldn't have made a diffrernce with the way our D is playing. Going for seven was the right thing to do. Running every play........ thats questionable.

I HATE Bill Parcells! And hate is not a strong enough word! I agree, enough is enough! This team has not been prepared to play, PERIOD! AND The play calling sucks! period.

You would have to be blind not to see that.

Yes he does.

It has happened ALL YEAR.

If he wanted it different he would havce said something after game 1 and it would be different.

Are you serious?

But that was early on the game, you re speaking now you know how the game turned out, and rushing in those situations gave us TD in our last games.
And not kicking in some situations, shows desperation from our coach, he doesnt trust our Defense (like most of us :p) but trying to score TDs like crazy can do nothing than make our D confidence go down...

Please explain these to me...

#1 - 3 straight runs inside the 5 including a SWEEP.

#2 - We are still forcing Watkins to cover a #1 WR in man defense.

#3 - We show our blitzed with 15 seconds on the play clock. Gee, I wonder if the offense knows whats coming and has time to make an adjustment?!

I have no problem with the runs...the one that upset me the most was 3rd down from the 6" line...2nd down, Barber almost scored, so run the sneak, run the power up the gut, but for some foolish reason, we sent the lead blocker, Hoyte, in motion (no one went with him...should have audibled out or called time out), and then we hand it to Barber with no lead blocker and he gets stopped outside the one.

Seriously, we NEVER EVER play well in this kind of games.

And why does Parcells have to walk around like a grouch? Why can't he be as fiery as Sean Payton, or the way Gruden was?

The Eagles drove the length of the field dude. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see we needed to score high to have a chance. Three points meant nothing.

We RARELY run safety blitzes... and I don't recall one instance this year where we blitzed BOTH of them before tonight. If you're talking solely about RW, he plays near the line quite a bit, and it's not always a blitz. I find it hard to believe that he would tell them to show it that early, and the truth is, neither of us know for sure.

Hehe, I know you re right on that, but what can we do so? You have to trust your D in some points of our games or you arent going very far...
Conclussion: We are not going very far at all, I guess :(

They say the definition of insanity is repeating the same process and expecting a different result.

The players do make mistakes but the coaches are the ones who put those players in that position.

The Eagles were effective running the ball because Ferguson was getting blown off the ball. I counted at least 5 plays where he got pushed at least 7 yards downfield against one one one blocking.

Is that his fault? Yes, There's really no excuse. Is it also the staff's fault because they expected a NT who barely goes three bills to be an every down player? Yes, when you look at the size and rotation of other 3-4 team's NT.

The bottom line is that the players are limited by their physical ability, coaches are limited by their mental ability. A great coach can mask the liability but players, no matter the talent, can never mask scheme liabilities.

Is it any wonder that in the second half of the season teams with innovative staffs like Philadelphia and New Orleans have abused the Cowboys while coaches on the hotseat like Atlanta and New York have lost?

I love people who only want to blame the coaches but not the players, love those that want to blame only the players and not the coaches.

No wait...I loathe those people, I love those people that realize it is the coaches AND the players.

I really think its the coaches JOB to get the players ready...Its the HC that gets fired if the team doesn't win...just check out NY Giants, there calling Coughlin out...same thing will happen here if this crap continues....

No running Game, No Defense..and $10 million WR callled TO... has droped a league leading 14 passes...its the HC's responsibility fix it or move on
if its not broke dont fix it (defense) if its broke and you cant fix it get out of the way..get someone who can..this isnt Cleveland

HC's: Campo, Chan the man Gallie and Switzer...
