Guys I am seeing threads where you guys are saying how good the Giants are  . Who have they played????? San Diego and they got beat 45-24. So please quit judging this team because they beat the sucky Cardinals, the overhyped Saints, and the weak OL DL Rams.

You have to go by what you see. I watched that Giant game last week. I saw Manning being a good QB, Shockey was a factor. Barber is a beast, he never quits moving forward, even with 2-3 men on him. They are a good team and I will give them theor due.

I dont know if they are better then us, or the Eagirls. But they do not suck. They may not be as good as their record, but you can not afford to over look them. Tale em serious every week.

Well, they dismantled all three teams which you call average.. Meanwhile, we struggled to beat the 49ers (who just got WHOOPED by the same "sucky Cardinals"), lost to the Skins, and lost to Oakland. Three equally average teams. So let's recap.. They owned 3 average teams, we went 1-2 against 3 average teams, and the 1 win was a struggle against the worst team in the league last year.

Maybe the Giants aren't Super Bowl contenders, and maybe they're a weak play-off team at best, but they're better than us at this point.

They have a weak defense and San Diego exposed it.

What does Dallas have to do with this post? I am talking about the Giants not the Cowboys. Now way the Giants are better than us.

Well, you're right, you didn't directly compare them to the Cowboys at all.. But I took your post as a reply to all the "We're going to lose to the Eagles and Giants" posts. Thought you were trying to say we were better.

Ok cool just a misunderstanding then. I think we are better but we will not know until we play them the next two weeks. I am not going to compare teams based off common competition. I do feel the Giants have had a cake schedule but their's get real tough at the end.

I've been telling myself the same things, the Giants are over hyped clearly. They have had 3 home games and 1 road game and they got KILLED on the road. I think if Zimmer is smart enough to blitz heavily that Eli will have a bad visit to Texas Stadium, but the key is to pressure Eli and he will make bad decisions.

I am wondering where that all out blitz we had 2 seasons ago that NOBODY could do anything with, I miss seeing Roy and Woody running up to the line along with the LBs and knowing that the punt team will be on the field the next play.

They lost to SD with A. Gates playing. We would of lost badly to SD if Gates was playing for them.

They are definately better than us right now and they may even be better then the Eagles with Donovan and Akers injured.

That's BS. One man dont' make a team. It's hard to say how we would have done with gates in the game. It might have made a difference, then again, it might not have either. I dont know why, but the chargers forget how to use the talents of LT til about the 3rd game of the year, every year. Thats the big difference in SD play right now. Lt didn't have a catch til the 3rd game. And we are griping bout our play calling? But i am glad we got them first before their memory came back :)

How do you think we would do without Witten? And how do you think we did after we lost Irvin? Even with super stars like Emmit and Aikman, we were not the same team without Irvin. Why do you think we gave up 2 number ones to trade for J. Galloway? Because One man did (Irvin) made a huge difference.

A. Gates is the reason why D. Breeze had a career year last year. If he had played against us, they would have scored a TD at the end. Without a doubt.

If A. Gates played against us, I'm positive we would not have stop them from scoring a TD on their last drive. He would have either caught one himself or because we probably would have double teamed him, someone else would have easier time getting open.

If Gates had played, the game would have been played differently from start to finish and who is to say we would not have beaten them worse... Denver (who had just been embarrassed by Miami the week before) beat SD w/ Gates the following week.

The NYG beat the teams they were supposed to beat and beat them pretty good, but a team we beat - happened to beat the crap out of them. DON'T count us out - EVER! And don't doubt that we can beat them if we play as we can (and are not hamstrung by lousy coaching and playcalling).

They also give up A LOT of points. They (along with the Skins) will fade.

Everybody wanted to dismiss the Giants all offseason. I've said all along that would be a mistake.

I think they are a team with a solid core (Barber, Strahan, Toomer, Shockey) that added some nice pieces in the offseason (McKenzie, Burress). Manning is starting to make progress.

Dallas will have their hands full with the Giants.

Plaixco Buress is another arsenal from Giants weaponry.

The Eagles play all opponents long, hard, and consecutively for 60 minutes. If the Giants or any Team (including the Cowboys) get past that, they deserve the win -- it's as simple as that.

Until then ...

Thats a crap statement, how many games did we win when Emmitt held out????? Let me answer that for you.........ZERO. Philly wouldn't be the same without McNabb, so one man can make or break a team.
