Tinnypumps, I use this word as often as possible, sometimes even when alone at night.

Soda, pop coke, they're either a mixer or they're not. If they are not, why call them anything?

As much as I traveled the US, I really liked all the different dialects and phrases people used but for a mixed bag, nothing beats N'Awlins' natives. You get amongst them, it's like being in the middle of the UN.

We have 4th to 5th generation Cajunhillybillyokiehicks in this area sometimes when you ask a question it takes 30-40 seconds to figure out if they used English to answer you
