I gotta admit... I get uncontrollably excited.... cant really explain it... only can give you somewhat of a description... lots of expletives


After a Touchdown:

• "thats right... thats how it should be... you"
• "yeah mother flower, yeah, mother flowerin TD"
• "go go go... yeah!"
• or if they struggle and finally get in for the TD "gosh darn, its about flowerin time"

This is all me. That's why I love night games. 2nd half my boys are sleeping and I'm mother flowerin to my hearts content.

Day game and I'm too often stuck editing myself.

One time, my arm was sore for like two days. It sucked.

But then again, Witten's go ahead TD against the Lions will do that to ya...

I carry on so bad when the Cowboys are playing that everyone leaves me alone to watch the game usually. Years of experience have taught my wife that even if I promise to tone it down and try real hard, I just go crazy during the games.

That's just the normal plays, Cowboy TDs are off the charts.

I never sit during a Cowboy game...I've done this for years and years! Once the game starts I'm on my feet standing up, streaching, swinging my arms, doing squats, something to get all my energy to go away!! I never sit...three hours and even overtime, day or night games...I'm on my feet!

And during games I can smell when the offense is about to score a TD...and when they do...I just smile and walk away outside for a minute or two to wait until the commercials are over...grinning like the cat that ate the parakeet!

When they lose a game? It does not bother me at all because I'm so damned tired of standing up three hours that I just go to bed if a night game, or just tune in the the second game to watch the eagles or Commanders suck at trying to play football!!

This thread reminds me of a funny story at a sportsbar here in NY called Dave and Busters....

Anyways... was watching a game last year there with me and my girl.... a group of younger kids came in... about 4 of them.... I believe either all or 3 were Cowboys fans....

So.... we are winning.... we are all cheering.... we score.... I look a them and just give them a very pumped up thumbs up or just point at them like(yeah thats right) and they reciprocate.

Well... living in NY.... someone aint gonna like that.... so.... thats what happened....

The kids celebrated and some guy started cursing and talking negative Cowboys nonsense and he was right next to them....

So the kids all clammed up....

I saw this...


So.... we must have scored again like 2 minutes later......

I yelled YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH as loud as I could and I looked at the guy who was giving them the business and then I looked at them and then I looked back at the guy....

The kids smirked and let me know they appreciated it...

Then a few minutes later... they SMILED real big and acknowledged once again.....

Boys gotta have Boys back... especially when out of state.
