That's a matter of opinion.

I'd rather have a JL movie then yet ANOTHER Batman movie.

That depends on who is making the Batman movie. The people who produced Batman Begins did an amazing job so I would welcome another film by them. I would rather have that than another badly handled superhero film.

The idea of a Justice League just never seemed like it would work IMO.

I am not a huge batman homer like some here but I did like the last movie and thought it was MUCH better than the other ones.

Same cast and crew, FYI. Except they replaced Katie Holmes with someone who can actually act.

Dude, check this out:

Agreed, Christian Bale was by far the best Batman IMO and Batman Begins was the best of the movies IMO. I would have never thought to use Heath Ledger for Joker but that preview looks pretty cool.

If you knew who they had playing some of the parts, you might take that back.

IMO, this is GREAT news!

Still don't see how it's "Great" news. If you didn't think you would like the movie, all you had to do was simply NOT watch it. How does effect you positively if you weren't going to watch it anyway?

This only effects the people that actually were interested in watching it.

Some movies just shouldn't be made.

See Rocky V, Jaws 2-4, Big Momma's House, et. al.

Well, I'd have to watch it in addition visit the set and attend the press junket. This thing had "SUCK" written all over it and and would have affected all DC Comic book properties at Warner Bros. -- in particular the Chris Nolan helmed Batman series.

Jessica Biel (and others such as Josh Duhamel) turned down this movie -- what does that tell you?

And someone enjoyed everyone of those movies. Just cuz YOU didn't enjoy them, doesn't mean no one did.

That doesn't tell me a freakin' thing. There isn't enough space on this website to list all the names of actors/actresses that turned down roles in movies that ended up being good.

Fine, you didn't like it. Doesn't mean it's a "Good" thing it was cancelled. SOMEONE would have enjoyed the movie.

This movie would have been a disaster, and I agree with you Htown, I dont want to see anything that will put a blackmark on the batman character with Christopher Nolan doing such fantastic things with these new films.

I dont think so. I am a Batman fan, why on Earth should I be cheering for a film thats doomed to fail? Batman is FINALLY being portrayed the way I have always wanted, why should I shed a tear about the JL movie being canned?

We have our Batman, we have the stories that need to be told, anything else is a waste of space.

Yeah, and some people enjoy obese porn so what's your point?

Did you know there was a Fantastic Four film that was made 15 years prior to the one that was released. It was so bad that it wasn't released. Copies of the film were destroyed and there are some bootleg versions running around. Had it been released, there may have never been a Fantastic Four film as we know it because Hollywood would have been afraid to risk releasing another film based on the performance of the previous one. If a bad Justice League film is released and it doesn't do well, it's likely they won't release another one for a long time. Look at Batman, George Clooney's last version was so bad that Hollywood wouldn't release another one for 10 years. Clooney himself was quoted as saying he killed the Batman franchise and for a while he did. This is why it's good for everyone that a bad version of the Justice League film was not released. It's better they take their time and get it right so that if it does well, there will be sequels. And I don't mind sequels as long as they are done well.

I want them to hurry up and make a Wonder Woman movie....cause I want to see the the hottie in that sexy costume....I am honestly trying to think who would make a great WW.....Charisma Carpenter, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendez, Megan Fox,

I think if you do Justice League, you have to have the following.....Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and possibly Martian Man Hunter or Hawk Girl.....I like Aqua Man but he would be lame in today's age.....

On the topic of Sequels....I think with doing Superhero movies, you have to do them as if you are doing a continuing story. Have the next movie build on the previous one. That is what the Spiderman movies did, and that is why they were very successful.

The new Superman movie supposedly picked up where Superman 2 left off. It acted as if 3 and 4 were never made.

I am impatiently waiting for Punisher 2 and Ghostrider 2. I do not care if they make another Hulk movie.

If you still haven't figured it out, then you just aren't intellectually capable of getting the point.

It's real simple... if you don't think you'll like a movie, don't watch it.

Maybe if I make a fool out of myself and post in here "GREAT NEWS" everytime a movie is dropped that I don't think I would have enjoyed, then you would get the point.

YAY THE MARY POPPINS REMAKE ISN'T GONNA GET MADE! GREAT NEWS!

YAY (insert random movie name here) Isn't gonna get made, GREAT NEWS!

There can't possibly be "Good news" if it's something you wouldn't have watched anyway. It can only be "Bad news" for those that would have watched the movie.

Oh BAD NEWS, they're gonna make another "Bourne" movie! Dangit! I was hoping to not have to watch another one! What's that? I don't have to watch it?

Wow, what a freakin' concept.

Rack, here's the deal: this JL film had "suck" written all over it.
Yeah I know that it's a cool premise, but it was rushed by WB because they didn't have a "tent pole" for Summer '09.

You can ***** about the Batman films, but it's the one franchise that WB has -- sans HARRY POTTER -- that's bankable. And BTW, this new series of Batman movies has NOTHING to do with the previous BURTON/SCHUMACHER films. They hit "reset," if you will, with BEGINS.

For goshsake, they cast 21 year old Armie Hammer as Batman in this movie! What does that tell you?

On the other hand, they cast this hottie as Wonder Woman:

Of course, she can't act a lick, but does that matter? ;)
