"Terrell Owens...Yes, I did say his name."

Get your  ready... you heard Phillips mention how he said we gotta get this guy [Shannon Sharpe] the ball in Denver, right? Sharpe had his best 2 seasons when Wade was there. Its gonna be a show in 2007... and early 2008.

The biggest mistake our new coach could make is showing he's a bit timid of any one player. His best bet was to simply say " I will work with owens. Not to keep trying to persuade any one. owens is already watching this and rubbing his hands together. No one can deny the owens mentality, he's to old and set in his way's to change. Now we brought in a coach who in his PC is trying to hard to make a point about one player. that's far from being a leader, more of a kiss ***.

Just keep in mind owens wasn't allowed to be a distraction last season.:)

What are you talking about. Owens is never premeditated, He's quick tempered, When he thinks he is wronged he lashes out. He doesn't have an agenda

MINUS his endzone antics... he definitely worked on the Ray Lewis dance :)

I just loved what he said about the defense. He's bringing the Phillips 34 "D" to town, attack attack attack.

The haters all collectively barfed all over themselves.

He doesn't even owe them that. :p:

Loved it the second he said it and it was clearly a shot at Parcells...which made me love it even more.

He was very engaging in that press conference. He said all the right things. I liked the way he picked on his father (who was quite the character) too.

Clearly he can communicate.

Now we just have to see if he can coach.

I take it from your remarks you think Owens lives and dies for the moment where he can disrupt the team he plays for. Apparently Owens doesn't want to win necessarily, but wants to the hero, or goat, of every game, regardless of the outcome.

I disagree. I think Owens is possessed about winning. I think he gets frustrated when he is in a system that doesn't allow him to win. I won't argue whether the win is for himself, or the team, and frankly, if every player played to win for himself, the team would be successful.

great way to start your career as a cowboy - show that you are willing to work with all of our players. i think he hadled the media vey well and i think that the way he handled the T.O. part was very good, i think T.O. will respect that wade wants to work with him.

He didn't give it to Galloway, LBOH, or Norm Hitzgus. He jumped on the phone with his buddies in new york.

I would not pee on Gac. or lil' ball if they were on fire and I'm sure Bill feels the same about all the pathetic media in Dallas. They have to be the joke of the sports-world media.
