I mean seriously I’m not trying to solely bash Prescott, But just in general how did we ever arrive at this consensus that you can play terrible for most of the game but if you make a couple of plays down the stretch you are a franchise quarterback?

I’d rather have the consistent guy. Give me that guy and you won’t need a guy who can work miracles in the last five minutes. With our defense and stud running back, Give me the guy who plays well for most or all of the game and you’ll be doing the victory formation at the end instead of trying to squeak out a miracle win

Yeah I would have lost it. I stay away from betting on Dallas I have enough going on watching them anyway haha. If I go into the casino usually I just go with a few people to have some fun with the intention of actually losing the money.

But let's be honest with ourselves. There's plenty of threads on here in opposite fashion (Rams can't stop the run, Zeke will go nuts on them. Goff is a choker, he will fold like a $5 lawn chair. Etc etc etc). We've all seen a good amount of these types of discussions and comments on this forum over the last several days. This is what fans do. We can't play, so we talk. And that's part of the fun. I just don't see why we would be upset by other fans--on their own forum--jocking their team. Isn't that part of the deal, almost expected? Also I notice at the bottom there are some doomsayers who are concerned about their team going down in flames, just like there are on this forum. Again, part of the deal, right?

Also--just for the sake of asking--what if these "predictions" from enemy fanboards turn out to be right?
What if Donald and Suh do destroy our O line, what if Dak does have a bunch of turnovers, what if the Rams do roll us?

Will OP and everyone else who mocked the Rams fans, create another thread stating that I guess they were right?
or will we go to the old tried and true, "The Refs screwed us" routine? Just trying to make sure ahead of time what to expect, in the event it doesn't turn out like we hope it does......

Dak cracks under pressure. That is funny. Hes been in many more close games that Goff has this season and pulled out most of them. The giants game and the Seahawks game showed everyone that. He is battle tested this season. In my respect for Dak has grown tremendously especially after back to back wins in which he was the catalyst for the comeback or go ahead score at the end of both games. In my opinion our DBs aren't elite but they are on the next level down. They are good to very good but not great. I do feel that the DBs on both teams can highly impact this game. Talib and Peters are former pro bowlers . Peters is still young. Jones and awuzie are as sticky as you can get without getting interceptions. That's what would put them in an elite class. Interceptions!!!!! They are right there on almost every throw but they are either not looking, they got pushed back with no call, they just dont know when and how to anticipate a route that they can pounce on. All the good corners say they look for certain routes that they've studied and when they see it they know it before the receiver breaks. They have to find away to play through the push off without a penalty. Cooper has to beat Talib and/or peters consistently and dak will be more than fine. I'm looking forward to tmrw
