Here is my twitter exchange with Raymond Radaway.

RaY RaD 86 ‏ @rad84acu

“@YumaCactus: @rad84acu Hoping Mike Woicik and Jimmy Robinson are your BFF's this offseason. Opportunity is knocking.”(they are)

He's a great guy. I've talked to him on Facebook before, real humble. I also got to see him run track a couple of times when I a freshman and sophomore. Guy is a great athlete.

I never once used twitter...is "they are" his reply?

Yes

Got a young receiver who looks like he's about to crack your NFL roster in his first year with the team?

You need RAD-A-WAY!

Felt terrible for Radway, breaking his leg with what ... 3 seconds left in the last preseason game? That's some lousy luck! Hope he's able to pick back up where he left off. He was definitely showing some promise.

Never had a fibula and/or tibia break, myself, so I don't know what all's involved in recovering from such injuries. I trust Woicik & staff to give RR the best chance for a healthy return to action.

Thanks for sharing, Yuma...and he already is my pet cat for camp this summer.

Yeah, I really liked this guy and was pretty sure he would make the team. Then, disaster struck for him. Good to see him well on his way to making a full recovery.

Strange, every time I start really liking an up and comer, they get seriously injured. I want to go on record saying that I hate Raymond Radway with every fiber of my being and always will. :)

That was terrible.
I don't think he was going to be on the opening day roster, but he would have made it up from the PS during the season at some point due to injuries to other players.

I have some hope for Radway but he is still a guy who is an unknown who will have to prove himself this training camp. Far from a sure thing in terms of being a quality player.

Jerry pretty much said Radway had made 53 man roster the night of the injury or shortly thereafter.

RR was doing all he could to earn a spot when he got hurt, that's for sure. He's got that goal to come back for. Hope he achieves it.

Raddway reminded me of Dez during his time in the pre-season games. His body control, his catches... only thing is I think he had better routes and, quite possibly, better hands.

People will flame me for that, but I don't care. Kid looked good. I remember on play, specifically, where I honestly THOUGHT it was Dez... Raddway's arm was back to the side of him, covering the left part of the "6" in "86" and I thought it was Dez they way he moved his body catching a pass.

That injury will haunt me for the rest of my life and I am not even kidding.

Where did this Andre Holmes come from? Radway broke his lower leg, correct? I remember him getting hurt but I am drawing a blank on the leg injury...
