Raiders Release Aaron Brooks

Brooks offers no value to our organization.

Once he hit the skids in NOLA... it was over.

There is good reason why two ball clubs have now given up on this guy. LOL. No thanks.

I wish him on the Eagles when they lose Jeff Garcia to the Bears. Then when Donovan gets hurt again the Eagles can't finish strong like this year.

I'd take him.

1 1/2 clubs. The Raiders aren't really a full franchise right now.

If Brooks could be had for the vet minimum, then he is worth taking to training camp to compete for a back up spot. Other than that, no thanks. Some team will offer him more money, but not a whole lot at this point in his career. I pick the Lions to sign him. Maybe the Packers.

Right, it has to be McNabb, or trouble brews...
:lmao2:

Yup... and dont forget Momma McNabb :D

and I quote...

"We want our team to win and even go to the Superbowl and win it in Miami especially if they continue to play as they have. But oh oh, if they win the Superbowl without my son, what would be the real outcome with the fans? Will they crucify him?"

"Maybe, then the trade talks would begin. Off season madness, worse than last year's fiasco. But guess what, I guess I'll have to take the beating if it comes. I would have to hope that scenario of the madness would not happen or be that bad. Well let's wait and see."

If he wins the back up role, then he obvisously is better than whomever else Dallas brings to training camp. I am not saying you make him the only guy you bring in to compete for the back up spot. Bring a few. If he doesn't show anything, you cut him. There really aren't a whole lot of choices I would feel comfortable with coming into the game if Romo got hurt. That is just the NFL right now. A shortage of dependable QBs.

Where is Ricky Ray when we need him!

I just knew after seeing this posted SOMEONE would suggest he come to the Boys.

I won't add to the "I would rather have.....(insert bad qb here)" list... but it shouldn't be hard to figure that if he was let go by the Raiders who don't have ONE competent QB in place....and had Moss to throw to, he shouldn't be an option here.

Next!

Then I hope he never gets the chance to win it... it would only be an illusion... the guy is terrible.... Randy Moss couldnt make him look good and Moss made a few so-so QB's look GREAT

Yikes!!!!
Aaron Brooks has to be one of the most inconsistent and error-plagued QBs in the game. So bad the lowly Saints (2005) and the lousy Raiders (2006) couldn't wait to release him and put him out of his misery. Truly a bad QB.
Let it go, please.
