Raiders announced they released WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, DB Michael Huff and DE David Tollefson; and re-signed DB Phillip Adams.

Wow. Go get em Jerry! Huff just turned 30 but is still a viable Safety option. He might want to come back home to Texas. Let's resurrect some careers.

I dont like DHB's hands. Somebody will over pay for him too. Huff is an over rated player, not very good. I admire McKenzie taking out the trash when needed. They are going to stink this year so if they cant get anything for Palmer, they should cut him and take their lumps and try for Bridgewater.

Huff is nothing special, but he'd obviously be better than what we're currently putting out there. Though, I'm not sure that we could afford him.

If they could get Heyward-Bey cheap enough I would be on board. They need a Laurent Robinson speed guy out there. Not sure he would be "heady" enough to be on the same page as Romo like Robinson was though.

Huff? Interesting. We've been down that road last time he was a FA. I suspect the jury is still split on him being an upgrade or not.

Same here. I caught the Raiders a couple times last year and he's not bad. Not worthy of the draft spot, but not bad.

I bet someone offers him a decent contract, though. He does have some talent and he's still young enough to improve.

I don't really know if Huff is the answer at this stage.

@fishsports: Re #Raiders cut DB Michael Huff of Texas: #Cowboys source tells me he'll likely get snapped up before Dallas starts shopping

Huff is very average which would be a enormous upgrade over Sensabaugh.

I thought that if you looked up "average" in the dictionary, you'd see a picture of Sensabaugh? Sensy was never outright terrible like McCray...simply a JAG

Robinson at least had hands. DHB would be Alexander Wright part Duex.
