Welcome and nice post. I expect the rams to play tough. BTW my daughter is a Rams fan (no idea why, my son says that she likes their helmets).

Great win against the skins.

Do you guys have some speed rushers? How's your coverage been? Is Jackson still carrying the pill well? Holt has been one of the best WRs in the game so he needs to be planned for.

If we make too many mistakes esp on STs then anyone can beat us. If we play as well as we can then I don't think anyone can beat us. Just one homer's opinion. I think it will be a competitive game. To be honest I wish you guys had waited until after we played you to win a game. I'm certain that instilled a lot of confidence in the team. They did beat one of the better teams in the league
As far as speed rushers Lenoard Little is still a threat, has 3-4 sacks in 2 games 2 against Buffalo And I believe 1 1/2 against Skins with forced fumble on Cambell. Chris Long has 3 sacks I believe on the other side. We will throw a lot of exotic Blitzes that Haslett is known for. We have a good pass rush. As far as coverage Bartell is an unkown by most, but is very solid in coverage and Brown is also solid. Chavous SS is a waste of space and will blow coverages all game. Our FS Atogwe got NFC D Player of the week and had 8 ints last year and is Solid. However They are only as good as the pressure we apply and we play man to man outside so if we dont get pressure they will have a long day with your recievers. Our pass d is high risk and can be dangerous in good ways and bad.
Welcome to our board. Have you heard any "inside" information on whether Pace will play or not, and who is your backup there? Ware is a dangerous pass rusher but, like someone said above, our CBs usually play so soft that if Bulger is getting the ball out quickly you could score some points
.
As far as Pace I believe he is 50/50 and is backed up by Adam Goldberg also our starting left gaurd who was an offseason aquision Jacob Bell is also 50/50
and is backed up by rookie because our other back up is on IR.
The recipe for beating the rams recievers is to play them physical at the line.
IMO, your offensive problems are not the fault of Linehan, rather the fault of Saunders. He destroyed the offense for Washington, and is doing the same to your Rams. I love Holt, I think he's underrated by many, but as good as they come. With the quick slants you run with him, he may have a big day against our soft corners. He has the ability to eat Henry alive, and with rookies everywhere else at CB it's a mismatch across the board. It will be a competitive game I'm sure, but I like our chances against your defense
I agree but Ithink it was a mix of the two Saunders and Vanillahan(Linehan)(the most hated coach in Rams History)

Lol that could make for a long game, but Im expecting to see a heavy dose of Barber. I got him on my fantasy team but then again I have Jackson on my other one

Since I live in Rams country, when I go to work on Monday, I expect lot of bellyaching from my co-workers.

:welcome: Always nice to talk civilized with the enemy. I have to agree with some other posters that you might have caught us on the wrong week. You have proved you can play with some of the best. This is no game for us to over look. Fortunately, I really don't thing we are. Holt scares me quite a bit with our corner situation right now. He is one of the best in league IMO.

Good luck and lets hope for a injury free game like you said.

My biggest worry about this game is that they just come out flat again, everyone expect them to come out fired up and play hard, but i got a sickening feeling they'll come out flat. Wade still seems more busy making excuses then fixing some of the issues we have and then there's injuries on top of that. Roy is probably not going to be a factor for a few weeks he's got a whole new offense to learn.

For better or worse it's going to be interesting to see what this team looks like without Romo and i hope to see Teshard Choice get some game action with Felix out.

The O was pretty scary after the first 3 weeks, but not so much the last 3 games. I don't think Romo plays and I can't see any offense run by Brad Johnson to be deemed scary. We will see how Mike Jenkins does in his first start, not that Pac-Man was playing at anywhere close to an elite level, but you guys will surely try to attack him.

One of my best friends is a Rams fan. I'm going to watch the game with him.

The Rams fans I have encountered have been nothing but classy.

Whats up Cowboy Fans,

Not here to ruffle feathers just to talk some football. First off I want to say I think U guys on Paper are the scariest O we will face all year specially now with williams. So what is ur outlook on the game at the dome this weekend. I'm sure most of u are pretty confident u will win and I dont blame you based on how we played our first 4 games. So do u think Romo will play, Bulger has a finger issue also and is having trouble throwing with a swollen index. Barber and Jackson Remind me a lot of eachother from the hair to the tough running style. As far as our recievers we our getting back Keenan Burton our 4th round Rookie who had an impressive rookie camp and preseason along with Donnie Avery our 2cnd round reciever who is finally been given a chance to play and has not disapointed with his 4.2 speed and good hands. And of course Holt who has been doubled every game because of the lack of weapons on the Rams. I look for Burton and Avery to really make an impact and easing some of the coverage off Holt. The biggest problem with the Rams O is horrible coaching from Linehan and not using our playmakers like these 2 young recievers. As far as Qb Bulger I believe now that are O line is blocking a lot better for him the last 2 games will start to regain his form instead of this nervous qb that weve seen so far this season. This guy has taken a pounding the last few years. With that said Ware and Ellis our both probowl caliber players and are gonna be a handful.

My outlook on the game I dont know who will win but I do expect the Rams to atleast compete Chances are Cowboys will be too much to handle, but as long as we compete Ill be happy.

Anyways Good luck and heres to a good and injury free game
CHEERS!!

I honestly have no idea what to expect Sunday against the Rams. I can see a blowout or I can see us come out flat like last Sunday and just get beat up again. And with all the strange things that have happened this week we are going to have to just wait and see what happens with this offense. I’m guessing Romo will not play and I think that would probably be the smart thing to do. The last thing Dallas needs is Romo out even longer than just a game.

Injury Update for the Rams: Pace is 50/50, LG Jacob Bell is probable and was full go along with Burton. The notable injuries out for sure are Bennett and Starting Corner Tye Hill.
Damn the media doesnt give u guys a break and its unfair what the media is Doing to Romo pressuring him like they are. Personally I dont think he should play and if he does and aggravates it and gets knocked out ide think bringing in Johnson in the middle of the game would hurt you guys more.

Welcome! Great first post.

Our weakness is the secondary, and Holt scares me. If he and Bulger can connect, it will be a long day for the Cowboys D.

Honestly I think our real threat will be our 2 rookie reciever, Avery especially.
With that being said I have a feeling we our going to have bigger problems with the 4 headed monster of T.O, R. Williams, Barber and Whitten. Pressure on ur Qb and field position is our onlyhope of slowing u down.

If our QB is Brad Johnson on Sunday, he isn't nearly as mobile as Romo. Our O-line struggled against what some call a subpar Cardinals d-line, so pressure on our QB might be there. The positive is that Brad Johnson is a QB that seems to prefer shorter passes and quicker releases. This could help our recently underperforming o-line.

We're also without Felix Jones in this game, and that is a big blow. Though 3rd string RB Tashard Choice, who will get a few snaps, showed some flashes of brilliance in preseason (but then again, it was preseason).

My beef with Marion Barber lately is that he seems to be running more east and west instead of north, and this is also a concern.

It should be a good game. I'm not predicting a blowout either way. I think the margin of victory for either team would be within a TD.
