Whats up Cowboy Fans,

Not here to ruffle feathers just to talk some football. First off I want to say I think U guys on Paper are the scariest O we will face all year specially now with williams. So what is ur outlook on the game at the dome this weekend. I'm sure most of u are pretty confident u will win and I dont blame you based on how we played our first 4 games. So do u think Romo will play, Bulger has a finger issue also and is having trouble throwing with a swollen index. Barber and Jackson Remind me a lot of eachother from the hair to the tough running style. As far as our recievers we our getting back Keenan Burton our 4th round Rookie who had an impressive rookie camp and preseason along with Donnie Avery our 2cnd round reciever who is finally been given a chance to play and has not disapointed with his 4.2 speed and good hands. And of course Holt who has been doubled every game because of the lack of weapons on the Rams. I look for Burton and Avery to really make an impact and easing some of the coverage off Holt. The biggest problem with the Rams O is horrible coaching from Linehan and not using our playmakers like these 2 young recievers. As far as Qb Bulger I believe now that are O line is blocking a lot better for him the last 2 games will start to regain his form instead of this nervous qb that weve seen so far this season. This guy has taken a pounding the last few years. With that said Ware and Ellis our both probowl caliber players and are gonna be a handful.

My outlook on the game I dont know who will win but I do expect the Rams to atleast compete Chances are Cowboys will be too much to handle, but as long as we compete Ill be happy.

Anyways Good luck and heres to a good and injury free game

Nobody can really give you an honest answer of what this team is going to do until we see it this sunday.

We've had so many different things happen this week that its going to be a great game to tune into on Sunday just to see how this team responds.

I think it'll be really tough for us. We've had a rash of injuries the likes of which we haven't seen in ages. And that's besides Romo.

Plus, you have a really loud dome... Heard it first hand. So that'll help you.

I'm hoping some of our role players on D step up and play a great game, and maybe we can run the ball enough to score some points.

BTW, Avery and Burton were two of my favorite WRs this past draft. I was really hoping we'd get one of them.

I hear yah man that has been the Rams problem we have played teams tough and the we face adversity in a game and we fold. Commanders game was the first time we over came adversity and u have to have strong leaders to over come which is why Linehan is not with us anymore and the fiery haslett gave us an attitude adjustment.
If u can over come adversity u know u have a good team

nice post, i dont think it right to say the cowboys are going to blow the rams away, i think you just caught them at a bad time, and the cowboys players are ticked off after game against cardinals and going to take it out on the rams,

hopefuly your team can eventually get back on track, bulger is pretty decent qb, and you have a good running back in stephen jackson, so good luck and best wishes

I can see this game being a dogfight. The players clearly wanted nothing to do with Linehan and that showed last week in the upset of the skins. I know we won't take them lightly, but the rams will play hard and give us a battle. We can't turnover the ball and give them cheap points.

good post from an opposing fan.

this is probably really the wrong week to face the boys as i'd expect they'll be energized and bring it (unlike the last 3 games) to the Rams. I don't expect it to be very competitive - regardless of the score - barring turnovers or unusual special teams play.

Ya Cards have a scary O also and Warner can still play, the one thing that Amazes me is people bashing u guys for Roy Williams pick up. I mean I wish Rams woulda got him. This guy has played on a bad team his whole career. I dont think weve seen the best Roy Williams yet.

Welcome to our board apstl187. I appriciate you respecting our board. I think you will find that good strong posters, regardless of teams, are welcome at this board. Very good first post.

As for your questions, well, we are all pretty excited about Roy Williams but we are also worried about the fact that Romo is gone and we will have to go with our backup. You proved you can play with the NFC East by beating Washington last week so we can't take your team lightly. On the road, could be a game for us. I think we can win but I think we have to play a lot better football then we did last week. Any give Sunday right?

IMO, your offensive problems are not the fault of Linehan, rather the fault of Saunders. He destroyed the offense for Washington, and is doing the same to your Rams. I love Holt, I think he's underrated by many, but as good as they come. With the quick slants you run with him, he may have a big day against our soft corners. He has the ability to eat Henry alive, and with rookies everywhere else at CB it's a mismatch across the board. It will be a competitive game I'm sure, but I like our chances against your defense.

I have some cousins who are season ticket holders. They have been since the "greates show on turf". Seemed like a very nice dome-type atmosphere.

:welcome:

Always a breath of fresh air to see "enemy" posters with class. Wish we held up our end of the deal here more often, but it's a rabid fanbase.

This game will be tough. My money is still on Dallas.

Great first post and welcome. Talking football is just fine here. Trolls get chewed up rather quickly. But you have style. So welcome again.

I'm sorry to hear about those two receivers both playing. That could be a problem as we will have two rookies playing DB a lot with one starting. Another problem is our starting nickel and dime LB is either out or maybe. Sorry can't remember. That will be another problem for us. As well Roy Williams is back and he hasn't played since the Eagles game and pass coverage hasn't always been his forte.

Ware is a beast and Ellis can rush. Our NT is really coming on and will get after ya'll if you don't block him. He needs double teaming most of the time. I do expect them to bring pressure.

Our starting LT has a stinger L arm but I doubt that will bother him this week. Our OL is stout IMO.

Romo won't play IMO. Johnson is a capable QB who can manage a game and make most of the throws you want to see. I hesitate to say he can get it 50-60 yds down the field but he may still be able to heave it.

The rest you nailed as well.

Do you guys have some speed rushers? How's your coverage been? Is Jackson still carrying the pill well? Holt has been one of the best WRs in the game so he needs to be planned for.

If we make too many mistakes esp on STs then anyone can beat us. If we play as well as we can then I don't think anyone can beat us. Just one homer's opinion. I think it will be a competitive game. To be honest I wish you guys had waited until after we played you to win a game. I'm certain that instilled a lot of confidence in the team. They did beat one of the better teams in the league.

Keep posting.

Welcome to our board. Have you heard any "inside" information on whether Pace will play or not, and who is your backup there? Ware is a dangerous pass rusher but, like someone said above, our CBs usually play so soft that if Bulger is getting the ball out quickly you could score some points.
