Rams get #1 overall

Ramsey is a cornerback in Dallas.

Now don't you feel silly?

Just drop the likes and back away slowly. I am not in the damn mood for you melvins today.

“I didn’t know Herschel Walker was still around,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said about the Titans-Rams trade.

Ramsey, if drafted by the Cowboys, will play cornerback. Nothing else. He's a corner. And an impactless, irrelevant one at that. I was right on Newman. I was right on Carr. I was right on Clairborne. I'll be right on this one. I was told I was wrong on them all.

It is my opinion that there isn't another scenario where you would get less from the pick. You might as well forfeit it. It means nothing in terms of the franchise's future. He's just a guy. In the secondary. Who can't make a play unless the primary puts him in position to make one.

Now tell me again how this correlates with me saying FS was a major need a year ago?

Blood Pressure pills are your friend.

If I am Dallas, I hoping Tunsil is on the board at #4 and work a deal to trade back with the Titans...I'm not a fan of Bosa or Buckner and think Ramsey and Goff will be long gone.
#1 Wentz
#2 Goff (Trade w/49ers)
#3 Ramsey
#4 Tunsil (Trade w/Titans)

My preference is a trade back from the 4 spot too, I just don't know if anyone other than the QB's will be enticing enough to have someone move up. Tunsil, maybe, but doubt the Titans would want to give up as much as it'd take to go from 15 to 4. Besides, I'd prefer if we traded down we stayed in the top 10.

Sorry, I'm not seeing it and never have. Goff was the consensus top quarterback and possible top pick since last year. Only Wentzamania has changed that for some people. I'd have to see some quotes saying "not franchise quarterback".

I also saw numerous player rankings barely having him in the top 10 and some as low as the early 20's. Never saw one that had Goff as the top rated player in the draft.

In fact, early on many had Lynch as the top QB prospect, not Goff.

Tunsil and Ramsey are falling if they land @ 4, wanting to Trade Down is kind of being silly. To covet better than one of the best two overall prospects, both Offensively and Defensively respectively. Why not take it and run.

Both Tunsil and Ramsey qualify as safe choices and Day 1 Starters for every single team in the league.

Wow, I love this, being so relevant in this draft. Great players are going to fall to us, because rams trade. I agree with most posts on here, but better believe, the #4 pick just got real special. Hope for trade down, but if not we are going to get a very special player, I am hyped now. Wanted Goff btw. But it's ALL Good.

I'd take Tunsil even though we're loaded at OL because he likely is the top prospect this year. But if QB's go 1 and 2 I think SD runs to the podium and takes him, especially since they have a big need at OL.

Ramsey is highly rated, but he doesn't seem to standout as a CB or S, just a great athlete. I really don't want him at 4.

If I was the Rams, I would've worked out a trade with the Chargers. Why would you want to pick a QB BEFORE the Browns picked? The Browns are masters of drafting terrible QB's, so why would you think this year will be different? You let the Browns pick the QB that is sure to suck, then you draft the guy that they didn't want. That's the guy that's gonna be a superstar. Duh.

The Browns could draft the next Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Dan Marino, or John Elway and they would somehow find a way to make him suck. That team has no clue how to develop a quarterback. I feel bad for RG3 that he's going there. His career is pretty much doomed. And I'll feel bad for any QB that the Browns pick.

I like Byron Jones, but I just feel like we're taking him again with the #4 pick...which I would have hated last year

Ramsey does feel like B Jones if Jones played at Florida State.
B Jones and Ramsey are the same size, Jones ran a faster 40, and jumped better, and both played both Safety and CB.

If we want a corner couldn't we trade back and draft Hargraves who may be the highest rated actual corner. The additional draft pick could help us pick up another position of need.

I worry about both Ramsey and B Jones being average corners and better safeties. Neither is a strong safety.

Dallas won't be taking a QB at #4.

The two top-guys will be gone.

Yes I believe you are correct. The fact it was told they were having difficult getting in the top 5 made me think dallas wasn't trading down. Many factors grant you

Dam, adding Tunsil to this line would make it basically an All-Star unit.

Smith, Martin, Frederick, Collins, Tunsil................basically 5 first round picks on the offensive line, all in their 20s.:omg:

Its overkill. You can get a GREAT right tackle and develop him and get him in later rounds. This team has too many holes to try and improve a unit that's already great.

I don't know. I think in today's NFL.......you can go out there and just put your best players out there and be okay. Who's to say Byron Jones can't play SS? What does he lack that SS's have in this league?

Titans are rebuilding, this move reminds me of the Jimmy years. The great train robbery.

They are saying that the 2017 3rd going to TEN is the comp pick LA is getting for losing JJenkins.

This would be the first comp pick ever traded and makes the deal a bit better for LA.

I think Ramsey would be the Strong Safety out of he and Byron. Jalen is more of a field General and Byron could excel at FS.

Neither would bring the big hits, but both are sure tackling players who can cover a lot of ground, which is what the league is all about at the Safety spots.

Plus either player could be brought in at CB, Nickle/Slot or back to either Safety spot when/if needed. WIN - WIN -WIN, except San Diego just lost a Pro-Bowl Safety in Eric Weddle, and they pick @ #3.

Where has "most everyone" ever said that? Both Goff and Wentz are consensus top 10 picks. The Rams paying that cost to move up to #1 only reaffirms that fact.

Assuming the Rams choose one of the QBs it says that the Rams at least agree with that point of view. I am not sure that you can say that all teams echo that sentiment, but I think it is pretty good evidence that the Rams do.

Silly argument, if Tunsil is rated higher on the board, you take him. RT is a need and Tunsil is a better than any other tackle in this draft by a GREAT margin. It's not even close. He'd be a LT on nearly every other team in this league, day one.

It funny how certain posters here thought Goff was not even worth a first RD pick but now the Rams are giving up a boat load of picks to get him,i guess they are wrong.

First you dont know they are going to pick goff.
people are just assuming they want a QB, and the odds are with that, but no one knows till they pick.

and if it is goff , just because the guys picking for the rams want him dont make him a great qb or a franchise qb.

none of the top qb's in the last few drafts have lived up to the hype , david carr seems to be out playing all of
the 1st rounders.
