Turf Show times (Rams SB Nation site) all indications are they like and are targeting Wentz.
So my hopes for Goff still live!

Wow. Steep price. Did not think that the Titans would get that kind of deal.
Still might not mean Wentz, they could like Goff more.
Step back and compare Tunsil to Doug Free. Because that's the guy he will be replacing. I think if you do that objectively, your 'point scale' will look much differently.
And then project that to an offensive line that will have virtually no weakness. No strong or weak side, but every part of it a strength. No tendencies or point of attack for opposing defenses. A true matchup nightmare as long as everyone is healthy.
On top of that, you'll have a veteran sing tackle for a year in Free just in case something happens to Smith or Tunsil. Overkill, but a nice 'problem' to have. A line like that would make each and every skill position player that much better.
We can agree to disagree, the way I see it is that I don't see Free on this team next year (because of performance and salary) and if they have an opportunity to get the best tackle in the draft then it is something they would need to seriously look at.
The Green kid is coming off injury so you have no idea what they will get out of him, Dallas would have the opportunity to have very young and very talented offensive lineman, the game is won in the trenches. He also may be the safest pick in this draft.
Interesting. I see your logic. I'm betting they go Tackle though. Rivers and Gordon NEED help.
This is what Lance Zierlein has but don't see Goff being passed
@lancezierlein
1. LARams - Wentz 2. CLE - Bosa 3. SD - Tunsil 4. DAL - Ramsey 5. JAX - Jack

Thats a good point. Is take their first and both 2nd rounders.
How that team operates? What?
Honestly, it looks like a terrible spot for us to be in. If the quarterbacks go one-two, nobody is looking to trade up at that point so we're likely stuck at #4. And I would expect San Diego to take Ramsey at #3 as well, leaving this team to decide between Tunsil or Bosa. And while both are good players, I don't view Bosa as special or worth #4 overall and Tunsil is 'overkill' on the offensive line.
But if I'm stuck, I'm taking Tunsil and building the greatest line the league has ever seen.
Been that way for years.
if he was the consensus best player in the draft why would he be available at #4? the Rams gave up alot to move up and take someone else, i've never understood the BPA philosphy...going by that approach we could possibly end up with 8 OL when the draft ends. what makes your post ridiculous is not re-upping Frederick cause we can take Tunsil.
But we can't blame the team if that's what happens. It's not like they had the opportunity and passed.

From what I have seen, and knowing how that team operates, all signs point to him being the guy they are targeting.
This was my nightmare scenario. San Diego is 100% taking Ramsey and no one is going to trade up for Tunsil.
It seems to me that the Browns are the big winners here. Right now they probably have the Eagles and the Niners at minimum, on the phones tossing draft picks at them. I think the Eagles are a little more desperate and will end up with Goff at #2. To the point that they may lose next year's #1. Count me as one of those who believes Tunsil goes to the Chargers leaving us with Ramsay.
Yeah but I don't like the options at 4 if the first three picks are Wentz, Goff and Ramsey.
I'd take two second rounders and the 15th for #4 at that point. That gives me four picks in the Top 45 and I can get 3-4 good players if I draft right.
FREDERICK IS A CENTER, TUNSIL IS A TACKLE. THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER.
