Rams leaning towards Goff

Saw on ESPN that a source within the Rams is saying they are leaning towards Goff.

They did the trade this early, to give them two weeks to debate Goff vs Wentz.

Still a chance RS!!!!!
 
Interesting that the trade came shortly after it was leaked that Cleveland wanted Goff instead of wentz. However that could have been BS entirely.

Really, there's no reason to keep it a secret now. The Rams are in the catbird's seat.
 
This actually makes sense, which would be why they traded to #1, because they feel Goff is who Cleveland wants. It would be awesome to still manage to somehow get Wentz if that happens!

It would only happen in a trade up scenario by the Cowboys. If the Browns don't want Wentz, another team is likely willing to give up a ransom to move to Cleveland's spot.

That's right. Hey what happened the Luck/Griffin draft. Did Washington trade up to No 1 or No 2 - and did the team that was #1 that year say who they were picking before the draft ?

Just asking cause I cant remember.
 
Because Goff is a no-brainer for best QB in 2016. You guys are lost in hyper-bowl on Wentz, sad...a funny kind of sad!

Wentz could slide past Cleveland and Dallas...maybe even SanFran., the next QB taken could be Paxton Lynch. It's a developmental thing and Satans' Spawn is a year away, at least.
 
I've seen just as many sources saying it's for Wentz. Theres also this.


Of course the rumors are the Eagles want Goff and the Browns want Wentz. Speculation is the Browns will bail if Wentz goes with the Eagles being the partner.

Either way, the QBs are going 1 and 2 and Dallas is left holding the bag because of two meaningless wins. But hey, at least the "real fans" are satisfied with the effects of those meaningless wins.

Nobody drafts a QB in the top 5 with immediate future in mind.

That is why they will select the better prospect in Wentz.


Heck I think Wentz is better now anyways. He's actually had to do thing that pro QBs are asked to do.

I'm fine with the Eagles taking Goff..

They will just be selecting the QB they already have in Bradford.

Oh REALLY!? Rams are taking top 5 with immediate future in mind for Goff... Moriota, Winston, Mannings, Luck, AIKMAN.....why am I responding to this.
