My bet is still on Stefon Diggs signing with the team to play with his brother. He's coming off injury so his stock is down some. I don't know how much, though.Drafting a WR in the 1st round is a bad idea. Even after a trade down.
Unless they are signing a vet that can come in here and make an impact that would be a waste of FA money.
Why is anybody assuming that Kupp would even want to come here?
He's played for an organization that is serious about roster building to win a championship
you forgot to add 40 second roll out..Kupp would actually be too fast for Daks slow arm. Ball over head, ball behind Wr, ball in the dirt, wr blasted via bad ball placement etc
Boy if they could get this guy with Cee Dee it could be good ,especially if the running game had some juice. He’s 3 years removed from the triple crown. He’s going to want some dough.
The problem with that is you have to eat his contract. That why no team has traded for him.I'd give up a seventh to acquire him
I am tempted to agree. But with the possibility of Diggs getting cut, signing Stefon would likely wait until that decision is made. By then, the Cowboys could already have added a WR.My bet is still on Stefon Diggs signing with the team to play with his brother. He's coming off injury so his stock is down some. Everyone wants to be a Cowboy!!!!!!!!!Why is anybody assuming that Kupp would even want to come here?
Is he willing to pay Jerry and Spaulding to play? If not, I’d bet he ends up in KC or Detroit.
Yeah he has a ring so might as well steal money.I mean if he is okay with just living an existence of no real expectations. I mean it may be that at this point in his career that is what he wants.
We don't have a 4th Rd pick. But we do have a.......MingoHe's too expensive for Jerry's blood. Don't worry though, we'll draft a project WR in the 4th Round who will never pan out.
The idea of trading or cutting Diggs has never made sense to me. He has an injury guarantee for this year, so I believe his base salary for the year is already guaranteed until having to wait until the fifth day of the league year for it to be. Unless I'm misunderstanding something about the injury guarantee, I have trouble with the idea that we'd cut Diggs and gain nothing for it.I am tempted to agree. BINGO !!!!!!he will want too much for cowboys to sign him.
And that's why we won't trade for him ... and why we traded for Mingo instead. The problem with that is you have to eat his contract. That why no team has traded for him.
Averaged 5.5 catches for 59 yards last. Decent production. Not earth shattering. Two big questions if he is a guy you bring in.Kupp has crested the hill and is cruising towards the end of his career. Will be 32 before the season and hasn’t played more than 12 games in the past 3 seasons dealing with a multitude of injuries. IF healthy he’s an above average possession WR.
With all that said…yeah seems like a Jerry signing.
There are rumors we might cut or trade Diggs thoughMy bet is still on Stefon Diggs signing with the team to play with his brother. He's coming off injury so his stock is down some. I don't know how much, though.
