Ranch Report Confirms: Parcells met with Jones about 3 year extension!

IRVING, TX. - The TheRanchReport.com has learned that Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones met on Thursday afternoon at Valley Ranch to discuss a contract extension, possibly as long as three years.

don't be fooled anyone! we're just extending the contract for parcells just so we have a "cap friendly" figure then we're gonna trade him to the jets for their #1 and #2 this year. scuttlebutt is we'll throw in coakley also. no word if we've resigned him yet first though.

Parcells has had contracts before that he didn't fulfill....

Anyone wanna bet that we're not going to be going through this same exact thing next year?

Personally, I think it's an ok move IF he plans on meeting the obligation of another three years and stops putting together rosters that don't have enough to do with rebuilding for the future...and too much to do with going 9-7 in the present.

I'm sure Henson is just thrilled at this news.
