This is all kinda comical...

Parcells has had contracts before that he didn't fulfill....

Anyone wanna bet that we're not going to be going through this same exact thing next year?

Personally, I think it's an ok move IF he plans on meeting the obligation of another three years and stops putting together rosters that don't have enough to do with rebuilding for the future...and too much to do with going 9-7 in the present.

I'm sure Henson is just thrilled at this news.

I know I'm not.

Let's see Bill...time to put up. "You are what your record says you are"...and "Sooner or later, no matter what you've done in the past, you have to prove you can still get the job done."

I will LOVE to eat my words...I don't see him rebuilding this team to elite status...

We should get some collateral...like his race horses or his house. Like you said Juke, he could sign and then leave anytime anyhow. Then if he walks, we Cowboys fans get use of his house in Saratoga for 2 years...Party !!!

I guess if he does sign tho, and walks next year anyhow....Jerry should put in the contract that he cannot work anywhere if he leaves early.

Ranch Report is garbage, it's like reading the Enquirer. Roy Philpott is probably a janitor at Valley Ranch or something. The soap opera continues.

You mean this is a false alarm ?

Are you guys talking about the Ranch Report on the Ticket or some other publication?

If Parcells stays this year he performed fully on his orginal deal. More than most people thought at the time Jerry signed him. I don't see why he wouldn't then honor a possible additional three years. It's convenient to say that post retirement Bill doesn't have the same fire or whatever as the 'old Bill' but turn around and say, 'well he left the Giants, Pats, and Jets early so why not Dallas'? Either he's different now or he's not.

I do believe we are buliding for the future. Recent drafts are proof of that. I will say that QB is one area where Parcells will not put a player in until he trusts him. This goes against the way QB's are made in the modern day. Anymore you justy gotta play and Bill is not comforable with that. That's a philosophy thing for Bill and Jerry to work out.

I myself do not want to start over one year after changing to a 3-4. Whether you like Bill or not Dallas is better right now than when he started. I want him to continue that. I too am disappointed at 9-7 after being 7-3 but you have to ask yourself were we a lucky 7-3? Probably. Were you expecting Super Bowl this year? Not unless you really have the blinders on. Will we inprove next year. Darn straight.

The answer, of course, is John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, thank you very much. I'll take animal sounds for 800.

I doubt it.

Then you might actually get your money's worth of rumor out of that subscription they charge for.
