Ranching's Review

Injuries haven't hurt this team as much as bad coaching decisions.

1. Completely changing a defensive scheme to being more complicated without training camp was dumb.
2. Playing guys who clearly suck was a terrible idea.

It really just took a long time for this defense to come together and get the non factors out of here. If we had this defense a bit earlier in the year when we still had Dak we probably have more wins.

Garbage. Its been all about the injuries no question. Coaching on defense was an issue because of the lack of offseason. WE can see now the players starting to take to the new scheme.

If there was anything that was overblown it was the poor coaching. Some questionable blunders by MM early with going for it or not.

I hope Dak comes back strong with similar mobility. The Dallas medical staff/reporting has been known to exaggerate recovery and underestimate damage. He is young strong kid, so I am hoping for the best.

Wish Diggs was out there gaining experience. The most disappointing injury after Dak.

We desperately need a LB and Safety. Many seem freaked out about the O-Line. I am not sure how many other games they watch outside of the Cowboys. Many teams are getting along just fine with lines that are just average.

We definitely need a LBER, but I would be happy if we got a high first round corner and safety in the 2nd round. With Diggs and Wilson that would sure up the secondary in a hurry. Go out in FA and sign a good linebacker if we have to. If we get a high enough pick we can take the Penn State stud.

We don't suck as bad as I thought we sucked. I was very pleased with the heart and hustle! We are behind the eight ball in several areas because of injury, but I really liked the simplified game plan. I think the staff is starting to create a relationship with the players and they are starting to trust each other and more importantly, play for each other. I'm not kidding myself, we aren't gonna win a SB, but I would love to see another three or four wins and use them to create excitement for next season. Tankers, no need to reply.
Agreed, Coach!

You should start your own Cowboys show and call it: Ranching's Review!

Invite several current and past Cowboys to your show and possibly even showcase them out hunting at your ranch or even doing some fishing while talking anything Cowboys!;):D

Tgiving game looms large. We need to continue playing hard. Wft has tough d-line. Yesterdays cold front brought in rafts of dove and geese. Hunting was good.
Fish n my crappie holes have vanished like a fart in the wind. Shooting some birds sounds interesting!

Many obstacles to overcome this season with a new coaching staff to start that off. Add all of the injuries to the mix and the excuses were there to fold up.

Now, something new and different has been introduced to the Cowboys season, the sudden loss of a beloved coach.

They're going into a critical game to this unusual season without the one day of practice they would have had and heavy hearts and preoccupied minds.

I have enjoyed one thing more than any other this season, the resiliency of this team which I honestly didn't know was there. They showed the signs of cratering and caused me to start to give up as well but then I discovered I was premature in my thinking about next season. They had decided this season wasn't over.

It's not about talent with this team because they are not as talented as several others in the NFC but their heart is something else. And that collective heart is in mourning with the loss of a coach that they all interacted with and was responsible for getting them back on the field and in the fight. They're no longer just playing for each other, they've had one more thing added to their season of not giving up.

Ending the season on a positive note will go a long way in getting the players on board with what the coaches are trying to instill. If the team can do that, and they know that Dak is going to be back, the arrows are all pointing up. And who knows what could happen if we make the playoffs. Be great to knock Brady and his smart *** out of the playoffs.

With the added playoff team this year. If we win the division. There is a scenario we can have 3 home playoff games.

As it stands now depending tie breakers, the teams can shift obviously.

NO gets a bye.
Dallas beats LAR
Arizona beats GB
TB beats Seattle

So the 2 other division winners are out. That means a WC teams goes to NO. Right now that would the Cards
so
Arizona knocks off NO, We beat TB at home since we are the division winner.
We then host Arizona for the NFCCG as the remaining division winning team.

It can happen. :D

Mike knows how to win in the playoffs, that’s why he is here. Rogers helped a lot of course, but what the hay, we’re fans. We can dream!

May I get a translation please.?

My phone does not spell check your words?

:omg:
Fight to win with, pasión, maximo esfuerzo, every play. The life is fight to win!!!

TL;DR

Garrett still sucks!

I was confused by the OP because usually it’s a one word or sentence analysis. I don’t know how to take this deep analysis, lol.

McCarthy sucks!

Two bonehead decisions lead to two 20-yard TD drives. He killed his own team today.
