Randle Vows Not To Be A Cancer

Stop making excuses for Murray. He is a shell of his former self. The toll of last season has clearly effected him. It's too convenient to just blame it on Chip's system.

Well since we have no way of knowing for sure, I'll stand by my point as you are welcome to stand by yours.

No way of knowing? Really? So because your sense of perception tells you nothing has changed about Murray means other peoples perceptions are not valid? You are blinded by your own ignorance so excuse me if I see something you do not.

People are going to like Randle again when they see DMC get 10 + carries a game lmao

Randle ripped off plenty of nice runs last year, and a few this year too. Maybe he's just more suited for spot duty or a "change of pace" role.

He can still contribute.

Not defending the guy, but perhaps he'd look better playing with a QB who can make a completion more than 2 yards down the field.

When the defenses don't respect the QB's abilities, they key on the run game.

Hopefully Cassel does a better job than Weeden. That will open up the running game a bit.

And your sense of perception tells you he has even though he's getting far less carries in a totally different system behind a Meh O line on a team with a HC that most every one thinks is a huge joke. What ever.

Someone has pulled Randle aside and humbled him in no uncertain terms. It's clear as day.

I agree and it had to happen. Someone in here posted they met him at a card signing show and he was pretty arrogant. Sounds like he needed to be snapped back a bit but I will always root for guys who try and better themselves so good for him.

Murray apologist on the loose.

Well, he left enough meat on the bone for C-Mike to take off....LOL...
But can't put all the blame on him. No Romo, no Dez, OL not all together the first few games. Then insert Weeden.
Not an excuse either. But I always felt Randle was better suited for his back up role anyway.

I felt DMC should have started, not that he has shown to be any better in his backup role. But he had enough opportunities too.

So time for C-mike to see what he can do. Maybe a combination of Cassel, C-mike, the OL getting better, and now with Collins in there. They can get some production finally. Then when Dez returns, all the better.

No matter what happens, as I don't think he will be a complete bust. But if he does just enough to get in the flow of things, then see what happens the next week too. An 80 yard game will not be a failure. It's just a start. Do enough, keeps the chains moving, take some pressure off of Cassel a bit to have a decent passing attack, which in turn, keeps the run game going. Just protect the ball, keep TOP to wear down that Giants D, keep ours fresh.

Can't say that about Murray, The Eagles system doesn't have a lead back. Nor is it a north south system that Murray excels in.

You can only go by with what is happening. Murray has been less effective than Randle. Yards and Yards per Carry. It was obvious to everyone that Murray would take a step back. History speaks to it.

So he has to talk to tell everyone he's not going to be a cancer. He should just shut up and play. He's not good enough to be a diva.

His original role as a releaver suits him more anyways. He may do best with under 10 carries a game.

But Murray got over 100 yards Monday night.....though most of it was later after the game was decided and against a very worn down NY defense....../sarcasm.....

I'm not going to rag on him for this, putting it out there won't stop media questions about it, but jumping ahead of it gives them less ammunition. Good for him.

I considered this as well. I have to admit that Randle is getting a raw deal to a degree (albeit a small one)...considering he's played the majority of his snaps this year without the benefit of Dez and Romo also being on the field. Although, that doesn't negate the expert level of "knucklehead" he possesses and likes to put on display. I really think that jumping-spin-reach move at the goal line really hurt his standing with the coaches (maybe a "last straw" as far as him being the lead back).

Again, I suspect (but could be wrong) that he might excel more as a change of pace or relief guy. He's very agile and explosive and can catch defenses off guard when brought in at the right time with the right play call (we've seen it before, plenty of times now). We'll see how things shake out.

Just listened to his interview from yesterday. His attitude is actually really interesting. Good for him.

Obligatory 'the problem has not really been the RBs anyway' comment goes here.
