In 2019 Jaylon Smith was voted to the Pro Bowl. Two thirds of the voting come from the coaches and the players.

If he can't shed blocks then how in the world has he been in on 417 tackles in three seasons? Combined or solo, he was there. Again, that's third in the entire league over the past three seasons.

Again combined and solo are not the same thing. He's notorious for jumping on piles. He was a pro bowl alternate. And it's a crap game where fans get a good percentage of the vote. 2 3rds? lol it's garbage.

Oddly enough he is ranked 11th in solo tackles 3 years straight and doesn't break the top 100 in Tackles for Loss in any year. From 11 to 3 somehow? Quite a jump.


Like I said before, you want to see this defense actually turn a corner and ever see a championship caliber group.. then he has to go.
