I'm not saying this is an immediate solution but given what we have seen of Anthony Brown, could he become a Free Safety? He is not filling me with confidence as one of our top 3 CB's. Perhaps putting him in a position to face the LOS, read & react would render more from his talents. ?

If your looking for an inside the box ss, why wouldn't you just play the one that is already on the team in Frazier, instead of trying to convert a guy that has played his entire career at lb and is most probably going to be needed in that capacity at some point!

I'd rather just go sign a safety.

Nothing against Thomas, but we have depth at LB for the first time in many, many years. I'd rather not rob Peter to pay Paul and just keep Thomas where he's succeeding.

Thats creative thinking. Thats how Darren woodson became our safety in the ninety's. He was a LB in college but because he ran a 4.3 and could cover Jimmy Johnson turned him into a safety at 6'2" around 230 lbs

I don't know but I'd prefer to sign a safety
