What part of Germany do you call home?? I lived in Heidelberg for 2 and a half years way back when I was in high school, Kaiserslautern for about the same time when I was just starting grade school...

I loved Heidelberg, and dream of going back there for a visit...

FYI, Zax is one of my favorite people in the world... if he wasn't, I would never be teasing him the way I have been...

Actually I was involved with a German. Didn't work out the way I had hoped. The relationship was MUCH different once we went to Germany. I lived in Frankfurt, and Oberusel (outside of Frankfurt).

Oh, I know you were having fun with him..You can tell you both have fun with each other.

Well first you addressed the Chicken Littles which I assume means anybody who is not please with what is happening in FA so I suppose I am a CL.

You then proceed to allay my fears by stating that the Joneses have said over and over they were not going after a high priced FA. You then follow that up stating that one reason they are on vacation and not signing FAs is because they could be saving the money to sign TO.

This is a confused CL. I don't know if they don't classify TO as a high priced FA or ?

Also, Longwell and Bryant are signed and the pool now is very thin. If they pass on V, that means he is a high priced FA but TO isn't. The nearly bare K cupboard has Vandy who can't kick off and Brown who is a RFA and Seattle can match any offer. Which means we will probably have to overpay for the low end of the totem pole to get him. If he signs a reasonable contract then Seattle with match and if they do pass then it means we overpaid.

Well, thanks son, you really cleared it up for me. I saw all the accolades you were receiving for such a great post, and now that I'm clear on things I will also add my congratulations as well.

Besides, just being concerned about the way things are going doesn't make one a Chicken Little... heck, I'm concerned about the kicking situation...

What makes one a Chicken Little is the gloom and doom "the Cowboys are worse than they were last year", or "the Cowboys are gonna go 5-11 this year" crap that SOME folks keep posting over and over and over and over again... don't recall you doing any such thing...

Legitimate criticisms, legitimate expressions of concern, I don't have any problems with that...

BTW, I'll be cranking out another draft analysis before too long, and will have my spreadsheet updated and fine-tuned for folks who might like to have a copy... naturally, I'll be tickled to share it with you when that time comes...

I played in the USDESEA (United States Dependent's Educational System, European Area) championships in the Rhein-Main air base field house... I understand that we've just turned Rhein-Main over to the Germans...

I also loved the zoo in Frankfurt...

People don't have to post things that I agree with either for them to be considered "good". Just put up something that is supported with a logical argument and I'm in... if I agree with it or not.
