It was more than Beuhler- you can really only put one game on him. But nice agenda anyway. Mcgee having to play last week put us down.

Oh, and lol at the morons thinking that Roy Williams is supposed to catch a bobbled ball while attempting to avoid tacklers at full speed. Seriously hope you guys are just making a funny.

McGee didn't look good and he will never be anything more than a #3 QB. It was a wasted draft pick, live with it.

Bah, he was at his best at the end and got the W. Not a bust at all. Kitna's safe next year, but maybe McGee takes over #2 in 2012.

Can I say that to Roy after he gets his walking papers? :muttley:

You can.. it'll be kinda odd though since you'll be saying it through a TV screen.

:D

Andy played the second string.

Anyone excited over JG DUE to this performance is ridiculous.

I don't care if we had a 3 QB playing, we had a lot more #1s than the Eagles and we struggled to do anything.

We better step up.

The overall body of work at 5-3, given the variables that he had to work with, is exciting. Expand your view.

Is moaning about "loser posters" after you win a game another army value?

:D jk.

That's some serious cash just to belittle a player who's worked hard and had a decent season for us this year.

Who knows how things would have gone had Tony not gone down. He was doing well with Romo.

Doesn't matter now though.. moving on.

Oh... That's what the military is teaching our vets nowadays... to speak your mind regardless of impact? Last I knew, that's something that can easily capture an article 15 for a person without common sense. ;)

I have to agree with you there. Roy was finally clicking with Tony. Very much so. If for whatever reason Tony wants Roy to be one of his receivers next season, I would expect him to remain with the team.

McGee did not look good, but he can run OK, and he finally threw some decent passes to Witten at the end.

He has some good skills, but he was very inaccurate under pressure, was too late with some reads, and he was far too quick to run sometimes -- sort of like Aikman as a rookie in that regard.

:hammer: Not sure about Aikman comparison on rookie season, but rest right on point.

No kidding, I don't think he ever looked at a third option before he would run. Sometimes he only looked at the first one. Of course, he was under heavy pressure several times too. I suppose I would be a little jumpy being behind that line and being so unexperienced.

As a rookie, Aikman used to take off running before going through all of his options, even if he wasn't under pressure.

Years later, he admitted that he didn't know where all of the receivers were supposed to be on every play when he was a rookie, so if his first option wasn't open, he'd just scramble.

I'm just glad he missed kicking the football after dribbling down the court...that would have cost 15 yards in addition.:)

Yea, I think you are on scent here, AdamJT13. Things are still flying around to the sight of McGee right now. That, and Philadelphia was blitzing almost the entire game. As to running, he didn't have an interception in two games...and was working on stepping up into the pocket under pressure. This encouraged the running. But he had a solid 50+ yards running, and knows that was because he is still young as a QB.

At least, McGee showed that he warranted more developing in at least a #3 QB in the immediate future. He did 'game it out,' in that he put the team in place to win the game under 2 minutes in the last two games.
