Man, if the guy blows up in the NFL and is a superstar it sounds like he'll never get the money he should because he actually needs Dallas.

He even recognizes himself that he needs to be in a place like Dallas that can support all of his issues.

Maybe he knew how far he was falling in the draft and how much money he was losing and it was an eye opener for him

Oh yes, he said that he couldn't sleep the entire night after the 1st round. This person is smart, I think he is going to be alright, the way he stood in the green room and handled the entire draft situation was commendable for certain. Directly in the public eye, he was a man this week.

Even if Dallas hadn't chosen him, he proved a lot about himself handling great pressure during the process of sliding over the first two days of the Draft.

I liked to hear that he is at 240 but that 260 isn't unattainable.

The secret audio to his pick sold me on the kid. If he can tell Marinelli he wants him to be hard on him that's music to my ears, they will get the best out of him if he's truly committed.

what's that saying? the 1st step to recovery is actually admitting there is a problem, or something like that?

this eases my mind a little bit, kid is headed in the right direction already

Maybe, but you never know what state of mind or maturity he will have in 4-5 years from now. Most people do a lot of growing up during their mid 20s. Of course, some don't. I think the fact that he's mature enough to admit, publicly no less, that he needs help is a good sign. There are no guarantees, but we have drafted a lot of players who were great off the field that didn't make the roster and some with several off-the-field red flags that were successful. Most of the players with OTF issues typically have an agent and/or family staying on top of them until they get that first non-rookie contract at least.

Seemed to me he always wanted to be here. How he said few weeks back he'd make us a championship contender. Seems to me he didn't wanna go early to a team that would hurt his career cuz they suck lol

I can't help but look at this kid, and especially yesterday when they were interviewing him long before he was picked, and come away with the fact he looks like Jules Winnfield in a way.

He's certainly saying all the right things. Hard not to root for the guy to succeed when he's contrite, asks for help and is willing to work for it.

Not a fan of the pick because his has more flags than Bayer has Aspirin and I don't think he fits the 4-3 scheme but I did like what he said after he was drafted and took responsibility for his actions and I hope he does figure it out but I've heard many before state they're changing their ways only to revert back to old bad habits..

I think he looks more like Cleon from Dead Presidents
