The new Collective Bargaining Agreement means every team is running Camp Cupcake these days. They now limit the number of padded practices.

And since Gregory hasn't played football since the 2016 finale, the Cowboys are wise easing him into matters. A few practices over the past 19 months doesn't make a guy game ready.

I'm eager to see Gregory, too, but we have to go big picture here.

To me, it's the sign of a guy who loves the game. That's what they love to see.

I'm sure the coaching staff and the FO will agree to use him carefully, though.

Yeah, he played in the last 2 games of the regular season, both of which we had already wrapped up home field advantage of the playoffs and were essentially meaningless games. He was then banished for the playoffs.
