various:
i would legalize weed and tax it like colorado.
but under current rules a failure at the combine starts a guy with a flag under the NFL testing policy which means even a small slip up can hose them.
once they get to where they can't even drink alcohol it is pretty hard to keep a guy eligible.

anyone here really think smoking weed is worth millions?
then why would anyone with a brain consider smoking in the month before the combine?

if irvin and stepnoski and others could pass drug tests anyone can if they care too.

as a prospect gregory isn't really a fit here.
he's more an Otto or 3-4 prospect then a 4-3 DE.
while he COULD grow into a 4-3 DE I am not sure i'd want to draft him in the top 50 picks and assume he does.
his production was spotty, his size is a concern and his attitude is being questionned all over the place.

i'd MUCH rather have OO who brings legit 4-3 DE size.
if you are a pothead weighing 235 pounds i have a hard time seeing how you are going to gain a bunch of weight.
if the munchies don't put weight on you, not much other than steroids will.

hope he fails another prior to the draft so he falls ALL the way to us...then, we clean up his act

You do know this guy has a chronic marijuana issue? I will take him off my board in the first 2 rounds. The guy seem like a sexy pick but we need guys that can contribute not stay in and out of rehab while going through suspension.

I was being sarcastic...but, a chronic pot problem??? not the hardest thing to beat if you want to grow up and have a career

Just take him off the board, and consider other draft picks with not so much baggage.

but does he understand that and does he have the discipline and internal strength to hold to it? So far he is batting ZERO on all counts.

Still considered a top 10 pick by the draft experts. Those of you saying to take him off the board don't have to lose any sleep on this.

not sure what experts you mean, but I don't find that to be the case.

he is at 14 on CBS
and 35 on drafttek
a lot of "experts" haven't updated rankings since he failed the test as it came known well after the combine.

he has largely been considered a 3-4 OLB moreso than a DE before the test failure.

nebraska has one of the nicest weight training facilities in the entire world.
this isn't some small school kid who needs better training to develop.
