Essentially adding 2 All Pro caliber players (Hardy & Lee) to a pretty good D has me very optimistic about 2015.

On top of that Jones, Gregory, pretty much red shirt Lawrence and hopefully something out of Ryan Russel and Ben Gardner types, and yeah, I'm excited.

On paper this is one of the best off seasons I've ever seen. Cherry on top would have been if that DT Davis fell one more spot to us in 3rd round...Chaz Green may be a solid pick for us in a couple years, but a blue chip 1 tech, as low of a priority it is for Marinelli would plug the last big hole we have on D

Add in Jones for the secondary, and I'll even await Claiborne showing up this season.

Its amazing how our draft department has turned it around.
We will be so loaded in a few years that we can make trades
for future picks 'ala', the Pats.

If we keep drafting consistently well year after year, we probably won't even need to trade for any draft picks... we could probably expect to get 4 comp picks every year (hopefully in the higher rounds like 3rd-5th :)). Obviously no one can be perfect in the draft, so the term "drafting well" is all relative to the rest of the league.

But if we can get to a point where we don't need to resign a good number of our expiring rookie contracts (due to our other drafted players being able to take their place), we're in a very good spot. Such an amazingly fun time to be a Cowboys fan.
